Q: I have an 18x33 pool it only comes with 30 ft of hose is there an extension we can purchase in addition?

if your pool is 18 ft. by 33 in. it's more than enough hose

Q: What size pump do you need? hp or gph?....we bought the 2,100gph sand filter pump but not sure of that hp with that unit

Not sure that's strong enough. We got a 4500 gph sand filter pump and it works awesome with that. It did not work with the pump that came with the pool.

Q: Does the Lil Shark come with any hosing?

Yes. It comes with about 30' of hose that comes in 3' sections that snap together. My experience with this snap-together hose is that it allows quite a bit of air in the pump no matter how tight the pieces are put together.

Q: Can anybody tell me where the flow director piece goes? The book does not say.

It goes on your return, unscrew and remove the ball. And add this flow director.
