Great for any toolbox not just for crafts.
Been using these blades for years, rarely wear one out. I got my first set of these 35 years ago when Xacto still had the patent and was the one and only. Have only worn out a few. Was on last one when I went looking for them. Wanted Xacto but they discontinued this item. You can still find them occasionally but they are more costly.I actually still use my original 1972 set of knifes less one of the 3 that finally gave out. It basically just had the blade lock nut freeze up after all those years.One new handle and should be good for a long time.

Adds versatility to Exacto-handle. Good price
With the blades, I have been abel to cut items that a blade would have had extreme difficulty addressing. Adds functionality and versatility. Allows for detail sawing/cuttting in confined spaces. Overall, a great addition to have handy for that just-right-moment fo handcrafting / hobby / repair work.A good value, too.

Cuts well but only on the forward stroke
These do seem to cut well. However, it only cuts on the forward stroke which causes the blades to catch and bend sometimes. They are not too thin. They are just a bit long. I imagine if they cut on the back stroke then the blades might pull out of the handles because they do tend to tear through the wood pretty fast.

Unique blade design
Not easy to find blades like these. Very good quality, durable and unique design. Can't go wrong with the Excel brand.
