It's a really dancing Bluetooth bulb
Trying it out and I already had a HUE light system. This bulb is about half price compared to Hue bulb. Color is also very good and vivid especially green color and white light is bright for a 60 Watts bulb. It also does not need a hub like Hue system and this turn out a major advantage as describing later on. The single most important thing for me to get these lights is for party or get-together occasions where lights and music interacting do push the excitement a bit further and these bulbs deliver very well. I always enjoy light & music interaction and fortunately, there are specific IOS apps - Dancing Light Hue Edition, Dancing Bluetooth Light and Dancing WiFi Light - for Hue, Bluetooth and WiFi bulbs. Note that the free app provides basic music sync functions but it is ordinary compared with the above apps. If you are seriously into lights and music combo, I recommend trying the above paid apps and since all functions are the same in those apps, I can compare precisely for each type of bulbs. I end up using combinations of WiFi and Bluetooth Lights. WiFi bulb is good for secured connection thru WiFi router and you can also control light by internet. Bluetooth is for quick “no hub” direct connection to my phones with simple screwing-in and go. Bluetooth lights response much faster and more precise compared with Hue light bulbs and they are the best lights to use for music sync. I did talk to the app designers - US based developers - and they confirm that Bluetooth lights indeed having much better sync due to direct connection to smart phone where Hue bulbs’ controlled signal has to go thru the Hue hub and the hub is slow and thus cannot keep up with the music beat rate very well. This new smart bulb with LED technology also does a wonderful job to replace a regular bulb with more functionalities and it is the future in smart lighting. Definitely do recommend these lights !!!

Great amounts of Fun for the money!!
works just as described with no issues other then the cover being loose enough to remove but i actually find it more suitable for my situation and its brighter that way. surely i could just put a dab of superglue on it and it would be okay. also can be used as a regular led light bulb with the warm white settings which is pretty cool. thinking about picking up another one I recommend the Bluetooth one over the WiFi one because it is very instantaneous when using the app, i read that the WiFi ones can be a little more sluggish in response time. also the price was very fair to other ones ive seen.

The important things to look at are what features embedded in each bulb and then controlled by smart phone using the free app
It is a little bit expensive compared to a regular bulb but with new LED technology and energy efficiency, I am sure the cost is paying off in the long run. The important things to look at are what features embedded in each bulb and then controlled by smart phone using the free app:- Full color with brightness control.- Quite bright white color replacing regular bulb which is also dimmable only by the app!- Wake-up to light.- There are a few light effects that can be useful for party like atmosphere like seven colors jumping with speed and fading but there are better ways to enjoy this fully which I describe later on.- Pick up any color thru camera lens and set the light with that color.- Grouping lights and control at once.Since this is color bulb, what I like most is music syncing application and with a few extra bucks, you can download IOS app “Dancing Bluetooth Light” that seems making the bulb’s light dances on its own. Plan to get few more lights for better music effecting.

11-Year Old Loves the Light Show
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. You can run this light bulb on multiple apps, and note that the main point of this light bulb is that it puts on a lightshow that syncs with the music played through the app. The two apps you can use are: QLite: Magic Light App (IOS and Android) and Dancing BlueTooth QLIte App (IOS only). I have been using the "Dancing BlueTooth QLIte App" as I have been controlling the bulb with my iPad.The app itself is not the most impressive interface and tool I've ever used. I've found that some of my music won't play through the app, and I'm not sure why, and I've also had a tad of trouble with the color controls of the bulb via the device. However, our 11 year-old has had NO TROUBLE whatsoever, and since he's the only one who really wants a light show, it's all good.As for me, I just like that this is a bright white LED bulb when I turn on the switch. It puts off a nice glow in my lamp, and mainly send that light upward which gives us a nicely indirect lighting scheme in our living room.At first I thought this was going to be a bulb with a built-in speaker. Those do exist, but this is just an interactive lightshow bulb. The app isn't great, but the bulb puts out some good brightness.I was provided a free sample in exchange for my honest review.
