Viair is pretty much the industry gold standard. You're buying quality.
I have been a user of Viair compressors for over 15 years. They are solid workhorses, and worth every penny. Don't waste your money on knock off clones or junk, these are the gold standard in 12v air supply for a reason. I prefer the black ones over the chrome, but both work exceptionally well, and its a matter of visual preference only. They will run up to 200psi, and I have them hooked up to 8 gallons of tank volume. They have never left me stranded. The ONLY downside is the check valves dont have as long of a lifespan as these compressors. Ive changed them multiple times over the years. The compressors however, I have some that have been steadily pumping since 08. Yes...2008.

Best air compressors you can buy.
Cheaper than the auto parts store in my local area. They are great compressors. No mantainance required. They fill my air tank from 0 to 200 psi in just a few minutes without excessive noise or power draw.
