Golden Acrylics Fluid Interference Acrylics Set 8 Colors Interference Paint Blue, Gold, Green, Red, Violet (Fine), and Green-Blue, Green-Orange, Violet-Green, 1 oz multicolored

I wanted to try Golden Interference Blue and a few other colors. Adding up the cost when ordering them individually, I quickly figured out the price of this set is a great deal. To begin, the description in the listing is incorrect. The straight Interference colors (Interference Blue, Interference Red, etc.) appear vividly over a dark base coat. Over a white base coat there is only a slight shimmer of color. There is no significant "color shift" or "flip" when viewing the straight interference colors from different angles. There are, however, three bottles labeled C.T. Interference. The C.T. stands for "color travel" which means the same as "color shift" or "color flip". Each of these are labeled showing two colors, for example Green-Blue. The idea is that when viewed from one angle they appear Green. From another angle the color shifts to Blue. So, there's actually two different types of paint in this set. All of the straight interference colors work well. They do vary some in viscosity. Since my use requires thinning anyway, this wasn't a big deal. Also, be advised that the carrier medium does impart a slight yellowing . It is quite noticeable when spraying over a pure white base (this shows in the attached photos). Again, for my purposes this isn't a problem. Another thing, by varying the darkness of the base coat you can vary the intensity of the overlying interference color. I've achieved some interesting results by spraying the colors over varying shades of gray. My results with the C.T. color shifting paints have been less impressive. I've had the best results over a base coat of gloss black. Another reviewer mentioned the lack of instructions. Every other interference paint I've bought included instructions. I agree that, at the very least, basic instructions should be included for using these paints. Nonetheless, this is still a great set.

These are wonderful another great golden product

The media could not be loaded. Out of all the color shift/interference paints I have, this set is by far my favorite just because of the quality of it. Used over a dark colored base (works well on sculpey iii polymer clay and prepared wood; as seen in my imagery), it’s easy to create a titanium aura effect, or over a light colored base to create a subtle and sheer color changing effect. It’s a beautiful paint and very versatile. Just wish the price tag was a bit more affordable. Luckily, a little paint goes a long way.

I love these paints for pouring! I just wish I could see find them in a larger size, but they truly are fantastic!

Easy to use and so much fun to add, enhance and pretty up a painting project.

So far they do the job.

Vibrant, deep colors

The base used is milky white and strangles the beautiful interference colors that can’t be seen upon application. Even when the paint is dry there is only a hint of the color unless you apply the paint in a coat so thin it is almost impossible to achieve without streaks of the milky base. This product is not worth the considerable price.
