Needs better packaging but still ok.
This came in a regular letter envelope taped mid shaft to a popsicle stick. In transit the shaft shifted and bent over the stick. Not the best packaging idea. In the end the shaft was able to be reshaped into a mostly straight configuration. It worked and I guess thats all that counts. I can see this thing being more damaged in the mail though if the shipper doesn't take more care. Maybe tape it in two spots, one at each end of the shaft to keep it from shifting.

Ok but I would just buy a new RC helicopter and avoid the hassle
The replacement part was Ok but it is difficult to get these small RC helicopters going again after being damaged. My son flew his into the neighbor's yard and their dog got to it. I think it is more cost effective to buy a whole new RC helicopter. The wires are small and difficult to strip without breaking. There is also a maze of wiring to slip it past to get to the batteries.

great replacement part
I got these for my little syma to try to fix the issue with the heli 0nly wanting to go backwards. while these work perfectly they didn't fix the issue as its something to do with the circut board. I ordered theese and they didn't arrive for quite awhile I contacted the seller and they resent the order. The great customer service impressed me. When the part arrived I installed it and still have the same issue with my heli (as I said circut board issue but now I know for sure). Weeks later the original part arrived in the mail. Somehow the post office got it lost somewhere. So I marked it return to sender and sent it back, with the great customer service I highly recommend ordering these from this seller. They won't let you down.

patience required!
One my cats got a hold of my 107 while it was charging and somehow managed to tear the tail rotor motor out of it on the 2nd day, and I opted for a replacement part since I like to fix things. Requires some precise sautering skills due to the small circuit board, and make sure and pay close attention to how all the wiring is routed when you take it apart. I tore the old assembly out the day it broke and left it in pieces, and didn't get around to installing the new one for almost a month, so it took a few reassembly attempts before I figured out how to get it all back together the right way. A little patience and sautering experience needed, but a cheaper option than buying a new 107. On the other hand, I think I probably should have just bought another 107 and kept this once for spare parts since I recently also had to buy new main rotor blades. All in all, I've spent almost as much on repair parts as I did on the original purchase, ohh well! It's worth the money to continue terrorizing my pets.

Works Great
Good quality. Replaced my old tail unit perfectly. Really hard to work with such small wires but that is not a flaw in this product.
