Breville BTA820XL Die-Cast 2-Slice Smart Toaster

This is the best toaster I've ever owned or used. Toast comes out even and golden. Lift and look function is great for longer toast time items. Fit and finish is top notch. Makes my counter look amazing just sitting there.

First of all, this is my second Breville toaster. My first one lasted 5-6 years. I think it should have lasted longer but, oh well, nothing lasts nowadays like it used to!I like the way the toaster works and gives you a bagel setting as well.

I use this product for thin middle eastern bread, I have to be careful because the bread is very thin and does not toast evenly.

Toasts bread so evenly! Best toaster I’ve ever bought.On the expensive side but worth every penny.

Was expecting good performance based on the reviews. The unit I received toasted unevenly. Sometimes burned on the top of the bread and not toasted at the bottom. Returned it for the 2 Slice Toaster, FEBOTE, which performs well at a fraction of the cost.

This toaster like many work fine for the first couple toastings then it starts to toast unevenly and at the middle setting doesn’t even brown. I thought buying a more expensive toaster like this would mean good quality but I was wrong. It doesn’t toast any better than a $20 toaster

Pros: Nice features, crumb tray easy to remove/replace, doesn't get too hot to touch. Cons: Doesn't toast evenly (not even close in my experience), cord storage is difficult without turning toaster upside down (causing crumbs to fall out)

I have the espresso machine and the toaster oven, this toaster is a perfect compliment. I just love Breville appliances. They are sturdy, work well. Clean looking and worth the extra cost
