I think this is a good product. I purchased off Amazon. I suggest buying from a store. Mine showed up in a brown box. I’m sure it was a return. As it should have been- pieces missing and don’t fit correct

This little thing is awesome, because it gives you so many (pinch situation) options. As a Dad I look like a wizard, able to charge a phone while we're camping, pump up everything from bike tires to cars tires, and jump start cars.WARNING.... make sure to periodically charge this thing.... SO the catch is if you let the battery go months without charging, it kills the battery dead dead, and will no longer hold a charge, kind of like Batteries for power tools, what ultimately ends up happening is if the battery gets to low, it doesn't have enough juice to power the small computer onboard that makes or accept a charge when you plug it in, junking the whole unit or making you buy another battery and installing it into the unit (which I've done before and it wasn't easy)SO - AWESOME device, comes with some responsibility to keep it plugged in when your not using it.

Bought this in Oct. by July the compressor failed, used about 6 times. Durability of compressor is poor, I'm calling for service. Compressor quit working, making clacking sounds, warning display emblems and doesn't like pressures above 45 lbs into tires. Funny calling for service on an item that suppose to provide emergency services.

This is my second unit. Ive had the first one for over 6 years. (It still works and holds a decent charge) I recently was doing some research on all of these types of jump start units. After reviewing many I found this model really out shines all of them. We had a storm this year that knocked out our power for a solid week. This was also the first time I had lost power since I was put on a CPAP machine. Without using my CPAP humidifier it more than handled the work load with a good nights sleep along with a small fan. If you compare 1400 Peak/700 Instant Amps, 500W Inverter to anything else out there for the price you can't beat it. Many of these solar chargers also claim to have a lot of power. But for the price of this unit you can charge one USB device, it has two Inverter outlets , an air compressor , a light and jumper cables. I imagine you could also use the 500W inverter and just attach a power USB charge adapter to charge multiple devices.The only thing that is different is they no longer supply the 12 Volt charging cable or a regular mini 110v cable. Both which are required to recharge the unit. The last time I was without power I would use during the evening and then drive around during the day and recharge in my car on my way to work the next day and then charge at my office via standard outlet. The power generators can charge via solar however you need several (5+)hours of decent sun to do so. If you lose power in winter this may NOT be an option.If you need something to just make you feel safe, offer a little light or a fan and the basic amenities I highly recommend these. They are not light so it may affect your gas mileage but also good to have in the trunk in case of roadside ER. I have them set on a smart table with other battery type units on a smart outlet that powers on and tops off the charge every 30 days to keep the batteries fresh.

I love this battery so much I bought a second one. During power outages it’s a lifesaver. Not only includes jumper cables to start your car but has TWO electric plugs to plug stuff into when you have no other power. Also USB chargers, a light and it’s easily portable. Great to have peace of mind when driving and keep one in my car.

This is a very easy to use jump starter that easily started my 2014 Ford Escape with its battery disconnected. The 110V power supply ran my PA system with not too much power-supply noise. (Just a wee bit more than with wall power--as expected with modified sine-wave power.) The wall-power charger works quickly. I'm only giving it 4-stars overall because it does not have any means to connect solar panel to charge it. But, I opened it up and found that it will be real easy to fix that, since the output of the wall-power input is 14V DC into the charging circuit...and I'll just splice in a DC power jack there and mount it near the AC power plug. The battery is only 19AH...not really an issue because it's a lead acid battery and I can easily wire-in a larger capacity battery and/or cheaply replace it when it goes kaput.

I use this product nearly every week. I often travel by car for work and need a portable battery for my mobile computer, scanner and printer. I can use all my devices while charging my phone. The digital display is a significant improvement over a model I owned before and the battery life is as advertised. Will stick with this brand if I ever need to replace.

Works great. Used on my wife's car and our neighbors car, they started first time with ease. Living were we do we head out to the mountains regularly so this will travel with us. You never know when you will need that boost to your car.
