Wonderful, large belt
It's a little pre-emptive, as I haven't worn this belt much yet, but this is probably one of the best belts I've owned in some time. It's good leather, well stitched, and otherwise well made. The zipper pouch for money is larger than other money belts I've had, both width and length wise, so it's not hard to get a lot of money in it. I've got 5 bills folded and stacked on one side right now, and I can fit another stack next to it. Depending on the size of the money (since foreign currency is different), I might be able to fit three separate stacks in it.The buckle seems to be quite sturdy, and works well. Plus, it's removable, so I can switch it out with one of my other buckles if I want.I am taking this with me on a trip to Europe for a long while, so I will post back after htat trip with how it has held up. I expect it to wear very nicely, though. It's cheap for what it is, but it's not cheap crap like you'll get with a lot of other mass market brands. The one issue that people should be aware of is how wide the belt is. It's not only quite wide (which I like), but reasonably thick, since it's two thick pieces of leather stitched together. It barely fits through some of my belt loops, but once it does, it's great.I had read somewhere that if you message the seller, he is accommodating about customizations and whatnot as well, so perhaps changes could be made if needed. I ordered a size too small before I went home and properly measured myself, messaged about getting a size larger, and got a positive response quickly. I'm very satisfied.

Looks fine, but realize this has a suede covering.
It's pretty good. I don't think it will last as long as the one I retired (a Victorinox). That belt lasted 15 years and only needed some occasional black polish. I had to retire it for a larger size. But it is very hard to find any money belt now that is made as well as they were in the past. This belt has a thin covering of what looks like a black suede leather that was already scuffed. However the scuff was not that noticable once worn. The suede layer seems to be sewn on, so I would inspect it often for tearing. The buckle and clasps are nice and sturdy. The zipper seems like a good quality and is longer than most money belts. I ordered 2 inches longer than the waist size of the pants I wear (usually dockers) and the fit is then perfectly in the mid-range of the holes.

Quality, quality.
I had been searching for a money belt for some time and just came up empty. Most belts I came across were either poorly made or too ornate for my tastes or both. I wanted a simple yet sturdy belt with a minimalist design, something that could be worn with anything from jeans to shorts. This belt fits the bill. The leather is simple, sturdy, and sumptuous, as a good leather should be. The zipper on the inside of the belt is a quality one, it works flawlessly, unlike with some cheaper money belts I've had in the past. I liked this belt well enough to buy two; one they custom made the compartment larger than normal. Both belts get heavy use and still look and work great. One last thing I'll mention is that the buckle can be easily replaced if you want to, it simply double snaps open. And again, it's a quality double snap, once you close it, its not going anywhere. I doubt you'll find a money belt anywhere online comparable to this quality, especially at this price. I know, I looked high and low.

Belt Sizing was different from when I have ordered from LL Bean.
Sizing issue. When the Belt arrived, I was excited until I tried it on. I wear a 36 waist jean size. I ordered a 38 inch belt. It would not come close to closing. I sent it back to Amazon and am waiting on my Account to be Credited. Once I receive my Credit, I intend to order the same belt, only with a 42 inch size! I know....big difference from a 36 inch jean! Anyway, the belt was Exactly what I wanted besides my sizing issue. 1&1/2 inches wide, zipper inside worked perfectly, and I loved the Black Seude look. Hope this helps anyone ordering this belt!

LOVE it
It looks nice with the black suede. I love that the belt buckle can snap off and I can interchange with another buckle I already own for a new look. The money is folded long ways and wrapped in plastic wrap because it is dirty and stinks. It never fear if I am stranded. I have enough for gas or food or lounging in a pinch. I wear them out as I wear them daily so we shall see if this one lasts a year. It has only been a month but I like it better than the other 2 I have tried. I will order again.

Size is Everything
I'm a skinny dude. My actual waist measures 29" and at my hips, 31''. I buy tailored suits online so I know my measurements. I bought a 32" belt and it fits but in the first hole which means its barely big enough for me. A lot of reviews say to make sure you measure yourself. I would suggest measuring yourself at your widest (hips) and then adding an inch. The belt seems decently made. The leather doesn't seem particularly durable, but will definitely do for a few vacations at least. The pocket is good sized and not the least bit uncomfortable filled with 7 bills folded inside.

Nice Belt
A nice, comfortable belt. I read in some other reviews that it's supposedly did not fit jeans but it is fit all the shorts, jeans and slacks I have tried it on so far. I really like it so far. There is more than enough room in the zipper area to hide enough cash even though probably not big enough for a driver's license or any ID though. It would be too tight.
