Hungry, Hungry Ladybugs
Oh, man! These ladybugs are the best! Last week I noticed a ton of little bugs camped out on almost every leaf on my rose of Sharon in the backyard, and I really hate to put any pesticide out in my garden… so I got 750 of these ladybugs hoping they’d do the trick. They even arrived early! Although, we had a bout of colder weather, so I stuck the box in the fridge for a couple of days until this morning, when the weather conditions were ideal to let them free. I opened the box, pulled out the bag, opened the bag, and the ladybugs began to arise from their slumber pretty immediately… and they went straight for the bugs infesting my rose of Sharon! I mean, it was like watching them at an all-you-can-eat buffet, they were really going to town on those little suckers. I really enjoyed watching them do their thing! There were exactly zero dead bugs in the bag; some of them took a minute to wake up, but they all woke up. Fun to use, effective, durable, wonderfully designed with the booklet that came with it… so very happy with my new friends in the garden!!!

Saved my roses and made my day!
Made my day! I received them within a couple of days of purchase. I put them in the fridge overnight. There were only a couple that didn't survive. They came alive quickly after I took them after the fridge the next morning. They went to work on my roses, which were heavily infested with aphids. My rose looks fabulous and have no aphids any longer. One thing that I think helped them stick around for awhile: I planted 2 shasta daises near the rose. They hung around the daisies for quite awhile. It all felt like magic. I gifted one package to my neighbor whose citrus plants have aphids and spider mites. It was such an easy, happy gift and gave him hope, which is a always a good thing.

Early arrival and very few dead Lady Bugs!
My package arrive way earlier than expected! It was supposed to arrive on the 29th, but it has instead arrived today on the 23rd! I am extremely happy about it.I also only had a few dead lady bugs! Out of the four bags I purchased, I would say that I had maybe 10 that were dead? Which is a fantastic ratio and very surprising. The instructions on the lady bug release were simple and easy to follow and the lady bugs are nice and active. Excited to see them decimate my aphid problem.I can also confirm that these are Lady Bugs and not Asian Lady Beatles. As someone who has never bought lady bugs before I was worried it would be the latter and I am pleased it is not.I was also provided a little booklet on other beneficial insects for various pests and other ways to prevent pests in my garden: I’ve only skimmed the booklet so far, but it looks very informative and I’m glad to have it.

Waste of money
I ordered 2 of the 750 bags but no way was there 750 in each or them. Maybe got the 300 bags instead but no way of knowing. They were all alive far as I could tell. Watered all the plants as directed and released all of them in my garden and potted vegetables and flowers and 3 days later, I can find no trace of any of them anywhere. Don't know where they went but they definitely did not stay in my yard to feed. Total waste of money. Will not buy them again.

Great Quality Bugs!
Ordered these lady bugs a few days before a mid way May Nor’ Easter hit Maine and made the temp almost too cool but they survived, I put them on ladies mantle first but they were slow due to cold so I took the clumps of them I could and put them on annual planters under cover until the storm passed. They survived well. I waited to order more because they come pretty fast through the mail. I ordered some more a few days ago and they arrived today in great shape. I highly recommend you follow the instructions given with the box in order to have the best success. The price is great and so is the product!

Most of them died after putting in the fridge.
Arrived early. Usually good. I had to put them in the fridge for less than 48 hours, and at least half, up to 3/4 of them were dead when I released them. They all seemed alive when I got them. :/ now I have a bunch of dead lady bugs all over my plants.Maybe my fridge was too cold, I don’t know.I did get to watch some ants have a feast on a few dead ones.

Great!
Every single one or them arrived alive, I was super impressed. Released them into our vegetable garden with my seven year old and they got right to business eating aphids and mites. They flew away in less than two days but were totally worth it just for the smiles and the little entomology lesson.

Ok, could have been better
Surprisingly they showed up in 2 days. After a huge shipping debacle. Probably about 1/4 of them doa. One problem is with the very tiny cotton ball bone dry with poor bugs stuck to it. Obviously trying to get hydrated. I immediately put them on a prepared Styrofoam board with a soaking wet paper towel, fresh Lettuce, and pre soaked cranberries, which was next to a pearl tree with a lot of aphids. Interestingly they didn't go for the tree, they stayed on that paper towel, then ate Lettuce and cranberries. In the morning most were on plants and trees few still clustered together, I'm hoping they will survive.
