Vivere Single Cacoon, Taupe

We've had the 5' Cacoon hanging in our back yard in Denver CO for over a year. We didn't take it down over the winter months, and opted to buy the cover to keep it nice and clean as well as protected from the elements. The whole family loves it, and we all use it as a cozy spot to read a book or take some time for ourselves. It's roomy and comfortable. I love how it slants up in the back when hung so that you're not lying completely flat. We had some friends over the other day, and they had young kids (probably about 130 lbs of combined weight) playing and jumping around in it (which I would not recommend), but the Cacoon held up and took the beating. I don't know how much longer we will get from this product, but I've been really impressed so far. It's definitely a must buy!

This is the third Cacoon I’ve bought over the years, so I am clearly a fan. The first was a double then two singles, which lasted a few years each. (They’d no doubt last longer if I was better at putting them away in bad weather but it’s a bit of a struggle to do so.) They are well constructed and I think it’s a great design. It’s really peaceful sitting inside and looking at the sky. I would give 5 stars but have to knock one star off because of the problem I have with assembling them. Some people say in their reviews “easy to assemble” … I wish I could say the same. The instructions say “expect to use some force” but a friend and I just could not get the last part of the metal ring to join together until a visitor arrived and the three of us just about managed to wrestle it into position. The only easy bit was hanging it from the tree, as I already had the strengthening pole etc in position from last time and just had to attach the new rope. I am very pleased with it despite the effort of putting it together. (My sister tried to take a video of the three of us struggling but was too busy laughing)…

Alles perfekt mit dem waren, für mein Garten leider zu groß, habe falsch bestellt :(

Ich habe zwei dieser Artikel bestellt und verschiedene Modelle erhalten, bei einem wird der Metallring innen nur mit ein paar Schlaufen gehalten und liegt sonst offen. Dabei besteht erhebliche Einklemm- und Schnittgefahr. Beim anderen Modell wird der Metallring innen vollständig von einem Reißverschluss abgedeckt, was viel angenehmer ist. Leider ist aus der Beschreibung nicht erkennbar und nicht nachvollziehbar welches Modell man bekommt.

We purchased this swing last year and one year later, the swing is faded, has a large hole and is separating at the seams.Recommend looking into another product.
