This product may cost more than other saw palmetto that I have used which are desolved in glycerine, but this saw palmetto is in alcohol and is far more potent and effective than these other brands. The directions call for using 1/2 the amount per serving than these other brands, thus actually costing the same. And even with the reduced application, I have had better results than using other brands.After just 1 month of applying this extract to my head, I have significantly more hair regrowth that I had gotten with the other glycerine based extracts over 8 months. As a bonus, it does not leave the hair greasy.In short, don't waist your money on cheap stuff, they are no less expensive and don't work as well as this saw palmetto.

My hair has been falling out for a few months so I have bought this product twice now due to it being a dht blocker. I am finally seeing new growth.

I use this externally for hair loss (female). Smell funky and can make your hair a bit oily so I have to wash it a little more. Also makes your head pretty itchy. I use it nightly, this is my 2nd bottle and it definitely helps create new hairs in my balding spots. Combine with derma roller and I think that makes it extra helpful. Nothing else I've tried even sort of worked so this is work the itchiness for me!
