So cute on my Persian ! He hates it but I love it!

Very cute outfit. My cat is not bothered by wearing it. Perfect fit for my kitty. I strap the velcro on his neck first and I insert my fingers in the trousers, grab his paws and slide it in. Otherwise that one little paw on the side will be caught in the elastic. Make sure you order the right size too.

So the quality isn’t the best but the price is cheap at $11 per costume so I didn’t expect much. Our kids are all going to be pirates for Halloween so naturally they wanted to include their pets in the fun. When we opened the package for the XL, we shook our heads as there was no way we were going to be able to stuff our hefty, 75lb sausage body Samoyed dog into it. Once my husband found out the costume was so cheap (and that if it didn’t fit, I would sure find another, more expensive option) he used all his might and got the costume on her. Oliver the cat was not impressed but did comply as we feed him turkey the whole time getting the costume on him. He is 8lbs and we bought a medium. It fit fine. We didn’t want to push our luck so we didn’t try the hat. Seri our Samoyed is older and was happy to let us stuff her in the costume (after years of being dressed up). Overall, great purchase and we got lots of laughs.

Followed the sizing guide and ordered the medium. WAY too small for our labradoodle puppy. Not sure even an XL would be big enough based on how small the medium size was. Cute in the pics of other reviews though. Love animal costumes with ‘arms’!

So I saw this for $11 and thought what the hell. First few times I tried the hat, he shook it off and hid from me. Next time I put the bodice on and that was surprisingly more tolerable to him. Once you get the legs in, there is a velcro strap around the neck to secure it. Once that was on, there's no shaking it off. The hat also has a strap that I couldn't figure out So I just set it on his head long enough to get a picture. There is a cape that comes with it but I forgot to put it on for the picture.I consider him a larger cat at 15 lbs and he's wearing a medium. Fits perfect!For the price, it was well worth it just for the laughs alone. I might have to get a new one every year, lol.

The legs have elastic at the end. You aren't getting a cat's paws through that hole, not even a very docile one. Either the claws will snag or they will pull their paw back. This should be marketed for dogs.

There was no denying that it was cute, but it ended up being useless to me, so I returned it. The reason is because I have a basset hound. I sized the product correctly for his big barrel chest, but as he was walking around in it, he kept stepping out of the sleeves. He would get tangled up and fall down. The poor thing couldn’t even walk in this thing. I think it would be OK if your dog had nice long legs, the elastic around the chest would keep it up. But for my dog, the top stayed on, but the sleeves got caught up on his legs and kept coming loose. It was very uncomfortable for him and we couldn’t even wear it on Halloween (I took the picture when we were trying it on). I ended up having to buy another pirate outfit for him. It’s really too bad because it is a cute costume, but you need a dog with legs that are long enough to keep the costume on, because the elastic is very loose around the sleeves.
