Bought for my singer 44s. Fits perfect. You have to take the black part off and screw to this plate. So take a picture before you take it off the old one.

BE AWARE - this is not an exact swap part - you will need to switch parts from your old plate to your new one. I still gave it five stars because once I did that and replaced the old plate with this one, it works perfectly! I was having trouble with skipped stitches and after making sure that the top and bobbin threads were correctly threaded, and, making sure that the needle was the correct size for my fabric, and, making sure that the tension settings were correct, I was still having issues. I watched a couple of online videos about adjusting the needle timing but that was not the problem with my machine. On a sewing machine forum, one of the suggestions was to check the needle throat plate for wear and sure enough, when I checked mine, there were chips around where the needle goes through to catch the bobbin thread. Instead of paying $100 to service a machine (Singer Heavy Duty 4411) that I only paid $130 for - or - buying a new replacement machine, I ordered this part and for less than $15 and a little bit of swapping parts, my machine runs beautifully again! My suggestion is to take a photo of the back of the old plate so that you know how the pieces that need to be swapped out fit back together on the new plate. I am VERY HAPPY to have a machine that works again without having had to spend a lot of money to fix it! I'm ordering another plate for my backup machine - just in case one of the two machines runs into problems with skipped stitches again.

Easily ties on to fishing line and will catch you many fish. Can also be used on sewing machine to sew fish skin hats and accessories. I sometimes just admire its quality and beauty. I enjoy taking it places to show friends. Is an asset to any fine collection. Highly recommend

Have a 44s that the wife likes to abuse. Back threads were getting messed up. I noticed a tiny notch/burr where the needle must have hit the plate a few times. Tried sanding it, but didn't completely fix. New Plate and bobbin holder fixed it. You have to move a few parts from the old plate, A bit of a pain to get the latch spring installed right.

Piece of junk that did not even last a month. It has already bent and am trying to make it last until an original part comes. Won't be ordering this kind of crap again from Amazon.

This is a replacement sewing machine part. There should have been an instruction sheet as well as notification that the parts required to attach this piece are not includedI was able to reuse the “attaching” pieces but I am reasonably handy

I didn't realise it was only the silver part of the plate I was buying, eventually I got black part attached except for one little piece I couldn't figure out how to attach it, which makes opening the door for the bobbin a little awkward, I'm still able to work the machine which I'm happy with.
