Bought this in October 2020 and it held up through my son stopping naps at school this past June 2023. Was super convenient to carry to school, easy to throw in the washer each week (pillow is removable btw), and my son could set it up for nap time without help. The print faded some over the years, but velcro is still perfect, pillow stayed fluffy, and mat never tore; my son also never mentioned any change in the feel of the mat over time either. Totally worth the investment! We also have the matching 12 inch backpack which has held up extremely well with daily use as well. Really impressed with the quality of Wildkin products!

I purchased two of these nap mats about 11 months ago for my 4 and 6 year old nephews to use with their cots when they sleep over my house. They wash up well and have kept their color. I am currently trying to warm my 22 month old son up to the idea of sleeping in a big boy bed, and so we start bedtime out on the cot with one of these nap mats. He likes to tuck himself in and snuggle for a bit before I transfer him to his crib. Over the past month, this routine has helped to gently remind him that he can power down and sleep outside of a crib. He looks forward to lying down on his nap mat. CARE I use a top loader with an agitator (it's what I have!) and I hang the mats to dry over the shower rod and pop the vent/fan on. They do take about 24 hours to fully dry, but I find that the quality of the fabric and colors is preserved because they haven't been in the high heat of a dryer. Also, I noticed some reviewers complaining of pilling in the fabric, so I avoided the dryer as that is often the culprit. PROS Quality: Fabric quality is very good, warm and snuggly with no pilling. The colors are also still vibrant almost a year after purchase with proper care. Trolley Sleeve: The trolley sleeve is a pretty thoughtful feature that allows you to attach the rolled up mat to a suitcase. Compact Storage: Since they roll up nicely and velcro shut, I am able to store them neatly in a closet. CONS The pillow is small and bulky so it is not very ergonomic. The width is fine, but the pillow should be longer and flatter so that a kid's neck isn't cranked up unnaturally. I find that my son doesn't lay his head on the pillow part and instead scoots down a bit which makes the blanket portion ride up onto his face. When I have time, I plan to remove stuffing from the pillow and sew it shut again to solve this issue.
