Good. Not great. Could be better.
The knife is beautiful. It's a piece of art. But, I was shocked when I discovered how dull the blade was. Almost no effort was taken to put a sharp edge on the blade. Also, the handle has a defect that damages the edge of the blade with every closing. If you are okay with a knife mostly looks good that sacrifices functionality...this one might fulfill your needs. Overall 3/5.

So Pretty My Wife Stole it from Me
Well, I bought this knife for me but as soon as I unpacked it to look it over and check for fit and function, my wife spotted it and snagged it. So now I am left with no knife, but with a very happy wife. We both love the deep blue color of the bone handle and when cleaning the knife of excess packing grease, the color of the handle reveals a deep blue to light blue depending on the grain of the bone and how the blue dye was absorbed. That means that every knife will have unique and beautiful patterning. The blade is beautiful solid Damascus steel (my favorite) and the blade opens and closes easily. This knife makes a perfect gift - as I found out by accident. I received a discount for an honest review.

The design of this knife looks quite Victorian.
The design of this knife looks quite Victorian. One side of the knife was a dark rich blue and the other was a dark black. It looks like bone and lays on both sides of the sculptured steel. The blade is solid and does not wiggle. The blade is the Damascus steel which is supposed to be super strong. I was given a discount to give an honest review of this knife.
