Does this treat/ prevent heart worm in cats?

Although it doesn't claim to, Profender does. And it contains exactly the same active ingredients, in the same amounts - it even appears to come from the same manufacturer. Do a web search for Lungworm Profender, and you'll find it. Recommended interval for treating lungworm according to Profender data (search the NoahCompendium) and at least one scientific paper on Pubmed is 2 weeks. I only just found that out; I used Dronspot for lungworm on one of my cats, hoping it would work, and it worked extremely well. But I think it might be coming back (very slightly); I used the standard month between doses. Do a web search on the active ingredients, and you'll be able to verify this: emodepside and praziquantel. Technically this is an off-label use for Dronspot, so to cover myself: I am merely saying what my experience is, and pointing you to the evidence!
