Milwaukee 48-22-1530 FASTBACK Spring Assisted Folding Knife

I've carried a pocket knife for over 30 years. I've got a heap of them. If they're too expensive and I'm reluctant to use them for anything, too cheap, they break or bend. This one is just right. Cheap enough that if I lose it or break it I won't be too sad but quality enough that I can actually use it for all kinds of stuff that I wouldn't use a more expensive knife for (opening paint cans, prying off baseboards, screwdriver lol, and all kinds of other stuff I wouldn't recommend). It's held up really well, opens super easy. The red color is easy to spot if I drop it in the outdoors in leaves or grass. The tanto blade shape has been my favorite for about 10 years so that's a plus. I also like the orientation of the clip, which is opposite of most of my other knives. Very happy with this purchase.

I abuse mine everyday at work and it holds up great. Stays sharp longer than most knives

Absolutely love this knife. Fits in my pocket nicely it's slim and got the fast back got a sharp durable blade I still have my first one I got I think 3 years ago.

I’ve purchased about a dozen of these. They’re so great they go missing. Plus, I gift them. The one handed operation makes this my everyday go-to from work to late night walks, etc.

This is the best knife I've ever used for all day, every day use. It barely costs anything. I've had the first one for 2 years. I didn't even need to get a new one. I just wanted to see how much I've sharpened it. As far as cons go... Blade steel isn't the strongest. But you shouldn't expect it to be on a $20 knife. If you wanna keep yours sharp you'll have to sharpen it every other week. And the pocket clip isn't adjustable. But I think it's right where it should be. Also, it will feel a little stiff for the first week. My old one feels like butter compared to the new one. The spring hasn't shown any sighn of weakness. So this is honestly the best knife at the price point.

I just love the knives. The quick access to the blade is nice. Doesn’t hold an edge very well, but you can put an edge on it in seconds. I just love the ergonomics of the knife itself. The older ones are definitely better than the new ones, but they’re still good. Price is getting too high.
