I had bought another USB to HDMI product before this and it came with a physical CD driver and was not at all what was advertised, this product works in less than a minute and required little effort on my part and the driver simply comes with the USB to HDMI extension. Plus it comes with extra USB ports not just the HDMI which is a bonus for me because I have used a lot of my USB ports. If you are looking for an extension for a second or third monitor and don't have the extra HDMI port, like i did, I highly recommend this as a solution.

Bought this because it seemed to have a lot of functionality despite being relatively cheap. However, the HDMI port doesn't work.

I was trying to extend my desktop for my MacBook Pro, like I do for my Windows computer. Sadly, I didn't know that my older MacBook does not support dual [triple] screen extending and this will only allow it to duplicate - not the fault of this docking station - rather a limitation on Apple's part. It worked great on my Windows PC, but I already had one so I ended up returning this one - ONLY because my MacBook has the Intel graphics processor and does not support the thunderbolt video - need to use Mini Display Port for this mac, and you can only duplicate - not extend the display. Again, no fault of this nice docking station - a limitation on the Apple hardware side.

The HDMI slot quit working after five months and I had to purchase a different adapter. It worked good when it was working. All the other slots on the adapter were working except the HDMI, and the HDMI is really the only I needed. Very frustrating that it didn't even last a year.

The Ziyuetek multi-function hub is a great convenience for anyone constantly using their laptop or tablet in various places. The hub features 2 x USB 3.0 ports, a Micro SD port, a SD port, and an HDMI port.In my case, I use a Razer Blade 18 which moves to about three different locations in one given day; instead of plugging USBs into each and every port on my laptop every time I get back from work, I can leave several USBs and even an HDMI cable plugged into the Ziyuetek multi-function hub and simply connect or disconnect a single USB C cable to my laptop when it’s time to go.The HDMI function is great for sharing screens during meetings and hooking up your device to a TV or monitors, which I also do at night time. Make sure that you properly install the software that is included with the device when you first plug it in as the HDMI function as it will not work without it.

Popped this little gadget into my Win 10 desktop USB3 port and followed the bouncing ball to install the driver from the advertised My Computer drive. Unless you're well versed in Chinese, a leap of faith is in order to navigate the install menu. Actually, conditioned reflex should get you through in a few clicks. A reboot pulled up a blank screen with blinking cursor. Oh boy! I rebooted and came up normally. I really needed this for my Win11 laptop. Did the same from my USB C port and rebooted normally. Fiddled around with the display settings and now I have 3 screens of digital real estate to work with. If this gadget lasts for the duration, then this is the cure to what ails you.
