the only fault i had with this camera was the fact that the mirror screen was blue. This made it difficult to see object in the mirror at night.

Stopped recording video once the memory device was full, in spite of being configured to "loop".
Update 3-16-2017: Since I switched to a Samsung 64Gig Evo+ Micro SD card the Wheel witness is working flawlessly. I like this product, however, I really miss the ability to have a DAY/NIGHT mirror. Reflections from the WheelWitness CM PRO at night are relatively high compared to a standard rear-view mirror in NIGHT mode.My Wheel Witness CM Pro, which was working perfectly for about a week, and was producing stunningly clear video, will now not record video since the memory card is full, in spite of the fact it is configured to "loop" and is supposed to overwrite old data. The CM Pro unit stopped recording and started producing warning tones and error messages that were displayed only very briefly if the backlight happend to be on when the messages ocurred. The error messages cannot be seen in the mirror when the LCD backlight is extinguished. What good is it to report error messages and tones if they cannot be displayed to the user? I am using SanDisk 32G SDSQUNC-032G-GN6MA memory device. My temporary fix was to re-format the memory card, thus erasing all files. This is going to happen again each time the 32 Gig card fills up, which doesn't take very many days. There are obviously software issues that have not yet been fully resolved with this product. Before I return this unit to Amazon, what is the proposed fix? I have thoroughly read the user manual and do not see any corrective action for this condition.I was recently involved in a collision and I desperately need a reliable recording device in the event the worse happens again in the future. I cannot take the chance that this device will stop recording un expectedly when I depend upon it to do so reliably.

Why I returned the CM PRO Dash Cam
I am giving one star, not because it's a bad product, but because I am unable to use it. It is a fairly thick camera that is supposed to attach to your rearview mirror. I drive a 2012 Nissan Altima. The problem arises when you go to secure it to your mirror. There are 4 small metal clips in almost an S shape and 2 rubber pieces that look like a tiny ladder. You are to attach the clips to the CM Pro camera and place it over your rearview mirror then secure it with the rubber ladder type piece. The rubber ladder piece kept slipping off the S metal pieces. One of the metal pieces broke leaving me with 3 pieces now. Putting the CM Pro on top of the rearview mirror, like you are supposed to do, makes it too THICK to secure the camera to the rearview. I wanted to use this camera. It looks very nice and has a long enough power cord. I am returning it because it I cannot secure it to my rearview mirror. If the company were to use Velcro straps to secure the camera instead of cheaply made clips it would be a 5 star product.

Makes me feel safer...
I love how it just makes me feel safer driving...I've had so many issues with GEICO blaming me for all car accidents in the past year. And I'm like how is it my fault when the guy wasn't even driving on a shoulder first of all...it was just dirt and he hit my back tire and door with the front fender of his car...so I figured this can at least prove to any insurance company how I cannot be at fault for someone hitting my back anymore...So I guess this is also a review on how terrible GEICO is...I hope to move back to AAA but now with all the accidents GEICO had me responsible for.....not sure how that'll go

Problems with Wheelwitness
Have same problem as a previous reviewer. Unit worked well for a while. Once the 32 GB card filled up it started giving giving me "slow card" error messages. I have it set to loop so it should rewrite and keep going. Sometimes it shuts down with no warning. Tried another Sandisk Ultra card but same problem. I see that wheelwitness has advised a different reviewer to purchase a different brand of sd card. I would say right now it is more of a distraction than a safety feature since I am constantly checking to see if it's recording. I fiddled around with problem for too long. I thought it was a problem with my vehicle's 12v splitter. By the time I tested it in a different vehicle and confirmed the problem was the Wheelwitness it was too late to return. I posted a question to the seller using Amazon but got no response.

So far I love it. Easy set up and easy installation
So far I love it. Easy set up and easy installation. I think I would spend the money and get the wheel witness Pro camera that mounts on the windshield with GPS I have one of those and for the price I like it better. But that is just because it has the GPS hook up. The pro on this one is the easy installation on the mirror. They both seem to function flawlessly. It seems wheel witness is the one to get!
