Perfect charger!
I wanted a charger for my Blackberry Storm and came across this one. It's just as described and works wonderfully! As long as you read the description and understand that it doesn't come with a power cord and doesn't fit the Storm II, you're in good shape. I like the small night light built-in on the back to let you know that it's getting power. Great product and an even better price.

Gonna buy more
I bought this to hopefully ease the charging process and found it slides into the cradle very easily and completely. I am going to buy another to keep in my car so I can see the screen display and charge while I'm driving. I brought it to my brother's house to show him and he is going to buy one also. If you have a Storm, I would recomend it. Unfortunetly it looks like this item no lngers qualifies for free shipping. Also, this does not include the charger.

Not Required but a great product to own if you have a Storm1
I haven't used a cradle since the early days of the Palm Pilots, but I had no idea this existed for my Storm 1 phone, and with the price being so low, I decided to buy one. The phone does look awesome while charging in its cradle. As others have already said, it only works on the Storm 1 (9500 and 9530), you have to supply your own power adapter or usb cable, and you need to remove any cases or skins from your phone. I had hopes that my original skin, being so thin and designed by Blackberry, wouldn't be required to remove, but it does. You can place the cradle on your desk or nightstand and set the phone to automatically enter beside mode which displays a huge clock and turns off the indicator light. You can also set it to change to a different sound profile. While these features are cool, they are also available when you plug in any charger, so there really isn't a need for this cradle. The cradle has a top light which is very dim, it doesn't illuminate, it just serves to let you know that the cradle has power, and maybe to guide you in case you need to dock your phone in the dark. The cradle also works with the phone's USB cable to place on your work desk plugged to your computer and keep things backed up and your phone in sight while working. I also bought an extra battery, as I assume that I will quickly kill my current one by wanting to always place the phone in its cradle and removing it to answer calls. The only feature missing in order to make this a very useful item is a secondary battery charger, as I would love to be able to take my phone and leave the other battery charging, otherwise there's really not that much advantage on having a removable battery, especially considering how loooooong it takes the Storm 1 to boot after you remove the battery. So, although this is mainly a useless device, it does look very nice, and makes your phone look very professional. I am considering buying another two sets and giving them as gifts to a couple of friends who also own 9530's.

Looks awesome works great
This charger works great with the phone and looks amazing. When I put my phone on the dock I switch it to the clock mode so the dock makes my phone an alarm clock at nite and keeps my phone in a convenient, safe place. The only bad comment I have to say about it is that it will not fit if you have a case-mate cover over your phone. It is just the right size for just my phone. I'm not sure if a thinner case will do the trick but it is annoying having to take the case off everyday before bed and putting it back on in the mornings. Other than that I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't like using a case and likes a convenient place to put their phone to charge.

Slick!
This product works great. Amazingly secure fit, I can even use the Storm while it's charging and sync'ed in the cradle without fear of dropping it.The unit is sturdy, looks good on my desk, and it fits my Storm perfectly. As others point out, you must supply your own power cord or USB cable. The Blackberry clock function only seems to come on until the battery is fully charged, then it disappears. (Not the cradle's fault tho.)

You Get What You See
This is a nice enough product; stylish, holds phone horizontally, heavier than you'd expect with a non-skid bottom. Problem is, that's all it is. There is no charger included as I had assumed. You either have to use the charger or the USB charging/sync cable that came with your phone. I wanted a second charger for my desk so I could keep the one that came with the phone in my briefcase or suitcase. Not sure it's pretty enough to justify almost $30 with shipping.

Doesn't work with Storm2 9530
I bought this charger for my Storm and recently upgraded to the Storm 2. I can hardly blame the manufacturer for creating a product that does not work with RIM's future line of phones but it does not work with my new Storm2. It works great for the Storm so 5 stars! The charger will not work with the Storm2 9530 however. There is a anti-slip grip that is designed into the phone's casing which makes the phone a little more bulky than the Storm in that one area of the case. The Storm2 overall is smaller and more light-weight than the Storm. Regardless it doesn't work with the 9530.

Does Not Fit Storm 2
I just received the sync pod, but cannot use it. The unit looks good and has a nice weight, but the Storm 2 will not seat on the charge plug. You have to press the Storm 2 quite firmly to get the charger to start (as evidenced by the clock showing on the screen). Once you release the pressure on the phone, it springs up, off the plug and charging stops. RIM's website states that the dimensions are the same for the Storm 2 and the Storm, but my phone won't work on the charge/sync pod.I will be returning it for a refund. It is too bad - the concept is a good one. RIM needs to revise the dimensions of the sync pod so that the Storm 2 will fit.
