This spreader is what I was looking for to put pre-emergent out in beds

This spreader is great! It ‘s very well made unlike others that I’ve used. If you have a small to medium sized yard you can’t beat this!

I bought this spreader because it was made in the USA. Its very difficult to spin the handle no matter what your trying to spread. The gearing is horrible. The handle is too short which makes it more difficult to turn. I tried some silicone lube on the gearing areas and it seemed perfect. For a few minutes, then it went back to the dragging feeling.cannot spread anything evenly when your fighting the handle your turning. guess ill have to go back to lowes and buy the scotts.

I am not pleased with this product.

Tiring when cranking and pulling trigger. Adjustment could use a slightly higher adjustment amount. I may manually drill out handle to accomplish this. Crank gearing could benefit from a higher mechanical advantage. Trigger uses far too heavy of a spring in my humble opinion.Awesome because it looks like a SPAS-12 so it fully redeemed itself.Excellent customer service!

Works good but becomes very expensive when you have to replace the batteries after a maximum of 5 minutes use. Came with copper top that were supposed to be good til 2022. Had to run to the store to get more batteries as it takes 4.

I am earthway burier. I have several other earthway spreaders and they work great. But this hand held spreader is not good. very difficult to spin the crank and the trigger sticks. If I wanted a low quality spreader, I can go to the hardware store and buy one for $10 rather than the $32 for this one.
