It Works well
I bought it for my drum practice pad. It works as expected.

Does the job for lighter snares
My only dislike is that this product is not ideal for heavier snares. If you’re rocking a piccolo snare of the equivalent this is the product for you. Otherwise, you might want to invest more if you don’t want to be constantly adjusting the height.

I'd look elsewhere
Gave three stars for the fact that this stand does what it advertises, but I am not in love with it for several reasons:- In order for it to be sturdy, the base of the stand must be fully extended, which leaves the snare unnaturally low. If you raise the base a bit, the drum sits high enough but on a smaller base that is more prone to tipping over- this stand only sort of supports smaller drums. I purchased it for a 10" snare, a size the description specifically said was supported. Instead of the drum supports extending out from the center, this stand's design forces the support arms up as they are tightened in order to hold the drum. Bottom line is that my drum does not 'sit' on the stand like a normal stand would, but rather is 'grabbed' on the sides by the arms of the stand as they extend upward and inward. It works - just seems strange.- Rubber pads on the arms that hold the drum were cheap and poorly executed - they aren't secured to the metal of the stand in any way, and can be pulled off with zero effort. Given the way the design sort of pinches smaller drums from the side, sturdy and soft protective pads are an absolute must.Bottom line: the stand does what it purports to do, just not very well. Given the opportunity to go back and purchase a snare stand again, I would look for something else.
