Little Tikes Scoot Around Animal Ride-On - Elephant

We bought this for when our grandson came to visit at 9 months and we are all very happy with it. There are no bells or whistles or anything else noisy enough to disturb parents. It is also very stable and doesn't tilt back. Nice walker feature for our first steps-level grandson at that time. During the few days that the family was with us, our grandson went from a taking couple of steps and plop to a taking a bunch of steps and plop. He was pushing this toy all around our house and I certainly think that it made a difference to his walking. The wheel covers prevent little toes from getting caught, which is a nice touch. There is also a fun ball game, where you can put the three brightly colored balls down the elephants trunk and have them end up in a secret compartment if you lift up the head. There is also a roomy compartment under the seat. The parents took the toy back home with them when they left. We are very happy with this and highly recommend it.

Great toy. My 1yr old daughter loves to ride it, push it around, stash important stuff in the seat as well as play the game of placing the balls in the trunk and having them go down to the mouth. I also really like how well it's designed; it's very stable with her on it and I'm not worried about it tipping over when she gets on and off like some of her other riding toys. I also like it's simplicity of having no extra lights or sounds, just a simple ride-on that isn't loud, doesn't need batteries and lets her supply her own noises.

This toy is very sturdy. No assembly required. Has fun activity with the balls. Easy to push or ride.

The package was damaged but the toy itself was fine. It worked great and our granddaughter is very happy.

I gave this to my grandson for t his 1st birthday. Today he took off walking down the hall with it, happy as a clam. He loves the different parts of it. He also loves to be pushed around the house riding it although that is not really the purpose of it. Little Tykes items are always high quality, and the colors of this are bright and cheery.

I wanted to love this! However, there are a few things that I have now realized that make this toy not the best choice (at least for us). The seat is still too high for my petite 14 month old to get on by herself (there are other models available with lower seats). The back push portion is so low that if she is riding on it and I am pushing her I am bent over and uncomfortable in only a few minutes- she loves riding on it- but her feet don't touch the ground so she needs to be pushed. I realize it is designed for the child to walk behind but some sort of option to have an adult sized handle would be a better design.

I bought this for half the price of the same product at a national chain store. I purchased the blue elephant for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday and made sure I didn't pick "hassle free shipping" as I was giving as a gift and wanted to be sure it came in the original packaging. She seemed to like it .She is just starting to walk so this is perfect to give her something to hold on to around the back yard and in the house. I thought the 3 colorful balls that you'd put in the trunk would end up in the seat but they actually go in the elephants head which you can lift up to retrieve them. This is actually nice b/c there is a decent size spot under the seat where you could store other smaller toys.

I bought this for my youngest grandsons first birthday. It was a little too big to wrap so I just put a bow on it and took it to the party. Needless to say, it was a hit with all the young party guests! It has helped him go from a crawler to a walker in just a few weeks. And it's his favorite seat in the house! So very happy with this purchase and found it to be a very fair price!

Was hoping my daughter could use this to practice walking but it's too light to bear her weight - tips over. Something to keep in mind for tipsy, unbalanced first walkers. Other than that, she loves playing with the balls and putting them through the trunk hole. Also enjoys hiding stuff in the storage area under the seat. It's also great as a ride-on toy.

Bought for my 1 year olds birthday, really sturdy for her to practice walking with. Even my 5 year old likes to play with it! Would definitely recommend.
