Tram 1185-SMA Amateur Dual-Band Magnet Antenna with SMA-Male Connector

Unfortunately, I got high SWR and a lot of static with this antenna. The magnet is quite strong, so putting it on and removing it from your vehicle’s roof will almost surely scratch it.

This is my second tram 1185 SMA male, and my first Trammell Evan 85 was a SMA female. very good antenna great value for the money works just as it says it does I recommend this antenna for everybody who has SMA connectors on the HTS.

I got this to use with my Radioddity GD-77 in the car. I checked it with an SWR meter and found low SWR in both UHF and VHF (70cm and 2m). A great Antenna. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the coaxial is not long enough. Make sure you order the proper length.

Great antenna right out of the box. Needed very little tuning. You will need a male-to-male SMA connector to attach it to a handheld or an SMA to 259 adapter and double female 259 adapter to attach it to a mobile.

Honestly... I didnt expect this much from the antenna paired with my baofeng in my truck.

Works great for the purpose I got it for.
