This cleanser removes soil and makeup gently, quickly and effectively. It has a creamy texture, but does not feel greasy or oily. It rinses off easily and leaves skin lightly moisturized. I especially like this cleanser for removing long-wear makeup. It removes all traces of makeup in one washing, yet does not leave my skin feeling stripped or dry.When I've worn waterproof mascara, I first use a mascara remover, then follow up with this cleanser. I avoid using it too closely around my eyes.

This is a gentle, creamy cleanser with a delicate scent. I was looking for something comparable to Aubrey Organics' discontinued Vegecol Cream Cleanser, or Lush Ultrabland, but reasonably priced. Having good experiences with other Desert Essence products, and reading this item's short ingredient list, I chose this cleanser for daily use with a facial brush.Though it foams more than other oil-based cleansers, it is not drying and a little goes a long way. My inflammation-prone complexion has had no reaction to repeated use. I'm looking forward to using this through the coming winter temperatures.

PROS: balances my oily skin to about 90%, no break outs, rinses clean, isn't drying, smells greatCONS: doesn't get rid of all make up residueOVERALL: I like it. I double - cleanse, so the above con doesn't matter much to me. While the area on either side of my nose and my t-zone still gets a little oily, it's much improved! It sucks being almost 40 and having an oil slick for a face. I thought I'd left that behind in my early 20's!

Really like this cleanser. Oil-based without being too heavy so doesn’t clog my pores. Feels so silky. Has an organic, earthy fragrance, which I quite like. I will be ordering this again!

Upon receipt/use of the creamy oil cleanser I could smell that the oil in the cleanser was old, rancid odor. I loved the feel of it on my face though, and continued to use sporadically. I have purchased other Desert Essence products, and never had any issues.I finally threw it away today, and should have communicated sooner. Just thought someone should be aware. I apologize for the delay.

I got this as a sample from a coworker years ago and have bought it multiple times since. I really like the smell and it feels really nice on my face.

Already disappointed. I just received this and there is more product in the envelope than in the less than full bottle. Hopefully, this is worth the inconvenience and frustration. I'll update later. 😡

Feels great on the skin, smells nice, and you really only need a small amount (like half a pump) for excellent coverage.
