Unfortunately not. But if you have a pick-up truck or van it will work just fine.

It looks flimsy. Has anyone owned this model for more than 5 years?

Is this an "on demand" regeneration system?

Yes it is. We bought our back in October of 2020. You have to correctly set it up and it will regenerate based on usage. We have an auto set to 2am regeneration cycle but with a family of 4 we don’t see an issue with soft water. I do suggest waiting a week after install to make adjustments as it will learn your habits and we noticed the first week was a hit and miss of softened water. After that point everything has been good. We use potassium chloride which is just fine to run in this machine as well. You must compensate by adding 15% more hardness if you use potassium chloride compared to sodium chloride.
