I've seen similar pieces from high-end furniture stores for double and triple the price... happy to report this find is a great value. The leather is soft and supple, but sturdy enough to maintain its shape. Color is pretty true to the photos. It does come folded flat and you have to supply your own filling; I stuffed mine with spare pillows and blankets and you would never guess it's filled with random bedding... you do not need to buy anything fancy to fill it. I'm hoping it continues to get even better as I break it in with use. Overall, very much would recommend with confidence.

I decided to go for a good-quality leather hassock after my Pier 1 faux-leather hassocks started to crumble. I love the thick leather of this hassock and the lovely green color, which looks great with the earth tones in my living rooms. HINT: After trying various items to stuff it with (sheets, pillows, old mattress covers), the best solution turned out to be my old 4-inch think sofa foam-cushions, which I cut to size with a utility knife and layered in to fit....not as sturdy as a seat, but perfect as a foot rest.

Was surprised by the substantial, thick quality feel of this leather! Pleasant color green.. not too bright nor dull either. Worked perfect for our needs.

I took a leap of faith on this product after having read some of the reviews, but I am so glad I did! This product is beautiful. The stitchwork is nearly flawless, the quality of the leather is high-grade and sturdy, the color presents the perfect balance between brand new and slightly distressed so that it feels already like your favorite casual piece. And it came with a little extra gift tucked in the folds--handmade leather bound notebooks (pocket sized). Since the note indicated the cover was made by a family operation, I imagine the notebooks were maybe made by someone just starting out.So well made I don't expect to ever need to replace it, but I might buy more just because it's so lovely! Well done!
