Sellers should market products honestly and correctly but this product was not marketed honestly and correctly. The item description states 1200mg but the capsules are NOT 1200mg. The capsules are ONLY 600mg each and you have to take 2 capsules to get the full dose. So that means that instead of you having 220 doses, you only actually have 110 doses. I would not purchase this product again. If you are dishonest about basic product facts, what else are you misleading us on about this product??? I would prefer to purchase the same item from someone that marketed the product for what it is.

The Calcium and Vitamin D3 capsule is large (1 inch long and 3/8 inch wide), but it's a soft gel and easy to swallow. Expiration date is 8 months from date ordered (Ordered July 17, Delivered August 5, Expiration Date March 2021). What I DON'T like about this particular product from Nature's Bounty is that it uses deceptive advertising. It shows 1200 mg, making consumers believe that it's the amount per capsule when in reality it's the amount per serving (meaning for 2 capsules). There are 220 capsules, so you only get 110 servings per bottle. The body's daily Calcium requirement is 1200 mg, but the body can only absorb 600 mg at a time. If I didn't research, I wouldn't know that I need to take this twice a day since each capsule only has 600 mg. I wish Nature's Bounty wouldn't continue this deceptive advertising just because other companies do the same...

Just be aware that this product is Calcium Carbonate although that information is not on the front of the bottle and it is difficult to ascertain the formulation by the front labeling. It popped up on the Amazon website when I used Calcium Citrate as a search term and I didn't realize it was not until I received the bottle by mail and could see the label clearly. This is not returnable.. There is a big difference in how it is absorbed (this is not as easiiy absorbed), how it must be taken (with meals only as it must have digestive acid to be effective) and certain side effects (constipation).
