Good eyes! I cant find where it says it however doesnt most everything from CA defer to Prop 65? 
You are probably correct it got to be the plastic bottle

Does anyone store this in the fridge?  (as opposed to a hot kitchen)

I store mine in the fridge.  The back of the bottle at the bottom says to refrigerate after opening.  I don't know why you would have to refrigerate vitamins, but I suppose since these are made of vit. and minerals from living food, it could spoil.
