Overall, this is a pretty solid foundation and it's working well.Pros:* Super easy to set up. The 15 minute estimate is pretty spot on.* The slats are connected with a cotton or possibly jute flat cord which keeps them properly spaced, and are attached to the frame with simple hook and loop (Velcro). If you weren't going to put the cover on for some reason this might be a con, but with the cover on, it doesn't matter.* The cover fits quite snugly.Cons:* One of my foundations had sap on a number of the slats. I had to take care of that before I could put on the cover or my mattress.* The foundation is constructed with staples rather than screws.Notes:The foundation uses hook and loop to keep the slats in place as well as the bottom of the cover. This is pretty sturdy stuff so I anticipate no issues.The king size foundation is actually two twins. At first I was not thrilled about this, since there was no indication that I would be receiving two twins and that definitely changes the firmness of the mattress that will be lying upon it. However, after sleeping on it, I actually prefer the change.The slats are 2 1/2" x 1/2" and the space between the slats is roughly 2 1/2".In my pictures I'm setting this up on a slatted frame, so you'll see an extra set of slats underneath--the foundation comes with just one set (on the top, naturally).

I am glad I decided on this vs heavy duty metal frame as on an energetic level, I don't like the idea of metal being anywhere near my bedding. I have this Frame directly on the floor and my foam w/ latex mattress directly on top of it as I don't want to use another frame to make it higher because my arthritic pet can't get in. The slats are under 2 and 1/2 in apart which is perfect because I ruined my last expensive latex mattress w/ a frame w the head slats over 5" apart.It's heavy and came in very strong box via fed ex. Its very sturdy and hardware was lightly preinstalled in holes (vs in a bag) just remove these wing nuts and line up side rails then center frame & reinsert wing nuts & then tighten down only after they are aligned and I took my time w this step!I'm a middle-aged woman who was able to assemble it in 70 min it was easy I took my time. There's a YouTube video which I watched. I did have to nail down the center slat to make sure it was flush w/ frame. The wood was is in good solid condition and smooth and it feels high quality. I was worried because there's other manufacturers who make this type of frame where they said people are getting splinters and wood was flimsy. Well NOT the case with this company. I am glad I got a US sourced & assembled product.Overall I feel grounded and I'm glad I chose wood over metal and I hope this Frame last my lifetime which I think it will. It's just the right height for me and my pet to get in and out of bed.PS: If you are over 200lbs, and have a partner and get seriously vigorous in the bed if you know what I mean, if I were you I would plan on nailing down the slats. U will have to go get right size nails. Like I said I just nailed down one slat & it was easy. I had thin nails at the right height. Wood did not crack due to good quality wood and correct nails used but I can't remember the size I used.All & all...this is way better than my last frame & I am so glad I'm not sleeping on a slab of metal or a cheap wood frame. I feel safe and grounded on it.

Easy to assemble and delivered in a small box.

I had one of those popular wire frames...they sure don't work well with Latex mattresses! It began breaking those supporting wires beneath, within a week. I threw it out, and bought this wood foundation...it sits perfectly in a standard rolling metal frame (mine has feet in the center, but I'm unsure if they're necessary).I love this foundation. It arrived very quickly, and was simple -- tool less, although a rubber mallet can help -- to setup (I'm in a wheelchair and had a neighbor help), and I used it within minutes! Comes with a finishing cover...both protects the mattress, and adds a nice look to the frame.

Easy to assemble. I recommend you tighten all of the thumb screws then go around and tighten again. I used pliers to get them tight enough.

Very pleased with the quality of the materials and the ease of putting it together.. I noticed immediately how much better supported our mattress than our old boxspring/foundation.. Highly recommend this company for your sleep needs..

This foundation solved how low the Savvy Rest mattress set on our platform frame. Now we have use of pillows throughout the night. It was easy to assemble even in a smaller bedroom.
