Admittedly, I was worried to buy a mannequin head. I just pictured it showing up with a smashed face and scraggly hair. I was pleasantly surprised when this hairstyle head arrived for my 11 year old daughter's birthday. It is excellent quality - the hair, the face, and the clamp. She was so thrilled with it and I really appreciate that the hair is nice. We haven't had any issues of brushing it once and having half the hair come out. She has done multiple styles with it and has even left it in for weeks at a time, and when she takes it out to try another style, the hair isn't affected. I love the pivoting clamp as she can put it on any flat surface with an edge and practice doing hair. She and I both recommend this head!

It's long hair but a bit unlike natural hair (I think quite a bit thicker) and won't lay flat if put into a ponytail, for instance. The "hair" leaves bumpy spots if pulled any way but downward. Maybe we just need more practice with it but we may try getting a different one that uses real hair.

it's decent; I have a little issue with the clamp. I'll have it attached and secure and I've been half way through a practice run and it has detached that's not so fun. I'll most likely change it out with something from the garage so I know it will stay even if I'm tugging and pulling. Otherwise, it's pretty good for what it is.
