Here is the Instructions Manual & Every Code for the AnyCommand ACR-20
I lost my Remote for my AC & searched for a universal remote that works for it for a while until i bought the AnyCommand ACR-20. I was skeptical at first but it works great for me & saves me so much trouble since the power button is broken on my AC. The code didn't work from the instructions but i just searched for the code manually & it worked fine. I am only giving 4 stars b/c it just randomly deprogrammed one day & i had to look for the instructions manual somewhere in my house (which was a pain) b/c it was no where online. I am sending a picture of the instructions manual and code for every AC they work with. I hope this saves anyone the trouble i had looking for it online.(IF THE CODES DON'T WORK, Press the power button on the AC & turn it on,Hold the Setup button until it stays red, press 8, then press the power button on the remote, one at a time until the AC shuts off then press 1 to save the code. Just be patient when searching for the code manually & it will work eventually) (These codes &/or instructions should work for the ACR-10.)

Works wonderfully with my Frigidaire window AC.
Thank you to everyone that reviewed this product to date, it helped me decide in this remote as the best bet for my Frigidaire window AC. Also, it helped me worked through a couple of quirks that it has.As a thank you I want to include what I figured out by playing with my remote in case it’s helpful to anyone else.I just have begun to use this so this is based on a review of it out of the box. If any flaws show up over time, I will update my review. You can follow that button explanation looking at included photo of that remote. To program you hit the set up button and wait until it’s solid red then let go. Then you enter the appropriate code. For me the first Frigidaire code (1654) worked perfectly. It immediately turned the unit on and off. I can adjust the temperature setting using the arrow up and down buttons.I already knew that the medium fan button was a problem. The way around it is to consider the slow and high buttons and arrow down and arrow up buttons for the fan setting. So the slow will take the strength of air down (from high to medium to low) and high takes it back up (low to medium to high).Think of the ‘mode’ button as the ‘cool’ button. It takes you to cool setting on the AC.For fan you hit the fan button. With fan you cycle through speeds, as mentioned above, using slow and fast buttons. For ECON you hit the ‘saver’ button. For auto you hit the ‘auto’ button. If you hit the auto button again it will take you to the lowest setting on the fan, hit it again and it goes back to auto. For timer you hit the timer button and then hit the temp/time up or down button to change the time. Hit ‘cancel’ to get out of this mode. Sleep setting options is the ‘sleep button.Directions are clear and straightforward. There are some consistent variants to the functioning of the remote that it would be good if Anycommand would change the directions slightly. But, in truth, I’m thrilled to have a functioning remote at this price! At under $10, it’s a bargain and so far well worth the price.Hope this was helpful! Thanks again to allwho helped me with their info. :)

Try The "Scan Mode" If Codes Don't Work
I have a Friedrich window AC but none of the three Friedrich codes works, so I was kinda disappointed. Before I return, I decided to read the manual again and found out there is actually a "scan mode" that you can go through all combinations and to see which one works. Simple turn on the AC manually, long press "setup" button until the red light is on, press number "8", and then click "power" on the remote repeatedly until the AC is off. Finally, press "1" to save the setting. The trick works for me.

Works! with Friedrich air conditioner
I bought the ACR-20 version.PROS- This remote is also better than the original remote because it displays the current temperature in the room.CONS- Sometimes difficult to for the signal to reach the AC unit, even when pointing directly at it.It worked perfect for a Friedrich* air conditioner BUT the codes listed for Friedrich were incorrect -- I had to use the code 1655. So when you hear people complaining about the remote not working, it may be that they didn't have the patience to cycle through a couple dozen 4-digit codes to find the right one. I found mine on the 4th try.UPDATE 16 September 2017I noticed that the remote stopped working after a few months, and I simply had to re-enter the code. So if your remote seems to stop connecting with your AC, try pressing the SETUP button for a few seconds, re-enter the 4-digit code for your AC, and that might do it.*2011 10,000 BTU in-window Friedrich air conditioner

Limited Range but works on an old Frigidaire AC
I bought a house with an aging AC unit that I know I'm going to need to replace in a year or two. It's built into the wall above a door frame though and didn't come with a remote. Frigidaire doesn't even sell the model anymore and now sells a different model with its number so I couldn't get a manufacturer remote. I said a prayer and bought this one. It's range is very limited (maybe 5 feet tops) but it does work without my having to climb up on a ladder so it serves it's purpose and I'm glad to have it when I need it. It was also inexpensive enough to not mind investing in it for use for only one or two summers before I replace the unit. Not all the buttons do what they say they will but they work consistently so it wasn't hard to figure out what to push to do what I wanted it to. Overall a good value for something that makes my life MUCH easier.
