☕ Elevate your coffee game with the Capresso Cafe Pro!
Featuring an advanced pump boiler system and two filter choices, the commercial-grade Capresso cafe Pro professional espresso and Cappuccino machine is the ideal choice for brewing cafe quality espresso and Cappuccino at home. The Cafe Pro is equipped with two filter options that allow Coffee lovers at any skill level to prepare barista-quality espresso. The heavy-duty double spout espresso filter, designed for beginners, is convenient and easy to use, brewing one or two espressos at a time. The filter's sieve helps produce an ideal brew quickly and easily, by creating optimal pressure without having to perfect tamp or grind size. Ideal for expert home brewers and those looking to improve their barista skills, The Cafe pro's bottomless espresso filter lets users brew barista style. Unlike the double spout filter sieve, the pressure in this sieve is built up based on grind size and tamp. The bottomless sieve produces a richer, thicker crema and a hotter brew because the espresso has less contact with the surfaces of the Porta filter. We recommend espresso beginners use the double spout filter and 2-cup sieve to create the optimal brew quickly and easily. For more advanced users, We suggest experimenting with the bottomless filter and sieve. By adjusting the grind size, tamp pressure or quality/age of the Coffee, your espresso brewing technique will drastically improve the coffee's taste. When used correctly, the bottomless filter will produce a richer crema and a hotter brew.

Awesome. Life changer.
Great crema! With the pressurized portafilter, the shots are very nice. I struggled with the pro portafilter (as the manual warns), but received a tip from a barista to do 3 separate coffee layers, tamping each one. This works with the right grind. Getting the right grind and filling the portafilter right is key. I'm taking one star of for the tamper they provided bring light weight plastic. To have any chance at using the pro portafilter successfully I felt a heavy tamper was needed, so I purchased separately. (thanks for providing the pro portafilter though!). Also, I struggle with the milk streaming, but it's probably my technique. The manual is complete with tips for sure though. I just don't use the arranged milk much and don't get great foam when I do.For the cost I'm very happy. The pulls taste better than those from local shops here in Seattle in my opinion (using the same coffee as local shops). The form factor is beautiful and not too big, with clear and understandable light indicators. A classic look as well. Easy access to the water container and easy to use large excess drain tray. Very easy. Sits of the counter surface, which helps cleaning, and pulls out very easily with no guys or hang ups, and is large enough to limit need to empty to only a few times a week.

Near perfect introductory machine
5 stars not because it is the perfect espresso machine, but because it is exactly what I wanted out of an "beginner/intro" machine i.e. an affordable machine that still let me learn the skills needed for a higher end machine.Quality: Machine looks good and all parts including the portafilters are made out of quality material that should last. Machine heats up quickly and gives satisfactory heat for both espresso function and steaming function (more on this later).Espresso: Includes a pressurized portafilter you'll see with most machines in this price range and the more advanced bottomless portafilter found with higher end machines. The bottomless will be messy at first while learning, but really lets you get the most flavor out of your espresso and learn how to make the perfect shot. The flavor is really night and day between the two. Youtube is your friend when figuring out the ideal grind, tamping etc. needed for the bottomless.Steam/Frothing: Also more similar to something you'd see on a higher end device. Difficult to use at first (not to mention EXTREMELY loud if you're doing it wrong), but puts you in charge of creating beautiful microfoam for latte art that isn't really possible with the less hands-on steam wands you see on other machines. The one limitation here is that the wand isn't as powerful as higher-end ones, so it will take a little longer to froth your milk (30-45 seconds). Again, youtube is your friend for learning proper technique.Bottom line: If you just want a machine that quickly makes espresso and milk-based drinks, hassle-free, this might not be for you. Maybe consider Breville instead, which focuses their attention on ease-of-use/automation. However, if you're looking for a machine to tinker around with espresso recipes and latte art, this one has been a lot of fun to use so far and will help with the skills you'll need for higher-end machines in the future.

even when the machine is left to heat for a good time. Using the steamer first and then letting ...
I'm not a fan of this espresso maker. I actually had been looking a two different models when I was looking to buy and purchased the wrong one. Didn't realize this is why it was different than I expected, until it was too late to exchange. Coffee comes out weak and too cold, even when the machine is left to heat for a good time. Using the steamer first and then letting it sit sometimes helps. I'm using good quality, espresso grind coffee and tamping properly, so I'm not sure why the coffee is coming out weak. Even when I've got a really nice tamp, only half the puck comes out clean, the top half is always a bit sludgy. Steamer is extremely loud, painfully so at times, which they can all be, but repositioning the nozzle usually works for most steamers, not always for this one. I have not used the single filter yet, so I can't speak to that. I haven't been using this machine much lately because it's too much work for mediocre coffee.I'm probably just going to end up getting rid of this one and and saving for a really good quality machine for a while.

AMAZING beginner-intermediate machine for its price.
Updated again: 1/2023: still works great! :)UPDATED: 10/2020 for its price range, months later and I’m still happy. The gasket broke, warranty company mailed me one ASAP (and free) and I replaced it and it’s up and running again! Good company overall and this machine handles at least 6-9 espresso shots per day. Love it!Review: (READ UPDATE ABOVE)For a budget setup, I don’t think there’s a better machine. Solid frame, nicer looking than the previous model. Steam wand is fantastic, although I don’t drink hot drinks often I appreciate that it’s a traditional steam wand. Able to use the bottomless portafilter with ease, which also comes WITH this. (The wooden tamp was purchased separately; this unit comes w plastic tamp. I recommend buying a stainless steel one. You’re looking for 51mm)Heats up FAST. I often grind my beans then realize I forgot to preheat. Not a problem, heats in max 2-3 minutes. I also pull like 8 shots per day (roommates) and it doesn’t struggle at all. Easy to clean. Great machine.Notes:Just make SURE YOU OWN A GRINDER. Pre ground beans will work in a pinch, with the pressurized portafilter (the one w two spouts) but if you want “coffee shop espresso” just grab a cheap Baratza that can handle espresso. :) also comes with a plastic tamp, but just grab a 51mm tamp as well if purchasing.

Brisé après 1 an

The media could not be loaded.

Gracias
