Great blacklights. They are part of my Halloween decor, and, in the spring, I will use them to attract moths. They shipped well, and I am pleased.

worked as advertised, used them to light the entire garage for halloween. The kids loved them and wanted me to light up the entire yard next year...

This is a good bulb for bug zappers and uva needs. However, people on here need to know this is not a party type black light. For that you need the dark purple 40 watt black light blue BLB bulbs. They filter out the visible light and work alot better. Reviewers say the black light they got at a party store sucked. It's because it was a low watt bulb. The 48inch 40 watt BLACK blacklight bulbs by GE are great. Plus, these unfiltered blacklight bulbs that are white, can give you a tan with long exposure and hurt your eyes because the light wave length is around 320 to 350nm which is closer to the shorter wavelength UV in a tanning bulb. Purple blacklight blue BLB bulbs are 350nm to 390nm which is pretty harmless. If it's a white bulb, it is not the type of blacklight for parties and trance music and halloween. Trust me, I know my physics. Get a couple 48 inch fixtures and buy a couple purple 40 watt 48inch Black light blue bulbs. White bulbs will say BL40 on them. True blacklights will say BLB 40 on them. Don't cheat yourself out of the really cool special effect you want.
