It is nontoxic, per the bottle. I don’t know why the person above thinks only “HARMFUL INGREDIENTS” can cause serious eye irritation. Heck, regular vinegar can cause “serious eye damage”.

Some of the bubbles come out iridescent ... maybe that has more to do with the light than anything else. They won't stain your surfaces, but they do leave a soapy residue that is easy to remove with just plain water

If I purchase the Gazillion bubble marker for a birthday party, how many refill bottles should I purchase?

The one bottle it comes with is good for about 20-30 minutes of bubbles. So really it depends on how long you want bubbles for.

Are you supposed to mix it with water or just shake before use?
