This is probably the best wii to hdmi adapter you can possibly get. The picture looks great and there is minimal input lag (with a low latency monitor). Would recommend to any oot speedrunner

Okay, I'm interesting in classic gaming for my kids but I'm not one of those hardcore gamer-dads that wants to invest thousands and thousands in old consoles and specialized gear.So we get this Wii and of course it would be nice to be able to connect it to a modern HDMI TV. But I've tried other HDMI converters in the past with other consoles and the lag has been just bad enough to take a whole bunch of the fun out of gameplay—it doesn't appear immediately terrible, but it makes the games very hard to actually play and succeed at because you're always a step behind.I expected something similar out of this adapter, but in fact it has performed perfectly. If there's any lag, we can't tell; it's completely unnoticeable to us playing across a few dozen games, including some timing-critical ones, and the image quality is excellent, just about as good as a 480p image can possibly look on a 1080i or better set.Plugs right into the back of the Wii and basically causes no fuss of any kind. In short—though I expected to wince a bit when using this and have to toy with the idea of getting a set with old fashioned inputs, that hasn't been the case at all. We're relying on this for Wii play and it hasn't impacted gameplay once.Great product, glad we got it.

probably got a defective product but the picture quality was so bizarre! it’s hard to explain but the brightness of the colours was just way too high so the picture quality looked kinda ugly. it was so bad that it was hard to see the outlines on the freaking home menu, it was very off putting. inputs were impressively responsive though and the picture quality doesn’t look too worthless when playing games but i simply prefer the darker and slightly warmer colours when playing games and i’m gonna be honest, i didn’t even think about low latency when getting this so that aspect really doesn’t matter to me.

There is a reason this is one of the preferred adapters for competitive Smash Bros. play. Not all "Wii2HDMI" adapters are created equally. My previous one, a Rocksoul brand adapter, was kinda...trash. The image was blurry, and it didn't support progressive scan so I was stuck in 480i. This adapter outputs 480p without an issue, and the image is as crisp and clear as the Wii is capable of outputting. No discernable lag, no scan lines, no distortion of any kind, this is the adapter to get in my opinion. It's easily 2-3 times the cost of cheaper adapters, but worth every penny, unlike the cheap ones. Don't waste your time with them, get a quality one like this one. It's sooooo worth it.
