How long is a 34-36 belt in inches from the fold where the buckle will be to the tip?

My first attempt to answer disappeared, so I'll try again. My waste is 35"/36". I ordered a medium belt even though they recommend ordering one one size larger than your waste measurement. My belt is 43" from fold to tip. (Seems long? Maybe it isn't a medium? You can never be sure about those things.) Anyway, I buckle the belt at the second or third hole. It's the perfect size for me. Love the belt!

Bought a small for a size 31 waist and it buckled to the very last hole in belt. Returning and buying bigger size I guess

The belt have one small rough edge but over all good product. I would buy again.

Do I need a buckle for this belt?

I bought based on size chart and measuring current belt. But... it is too long, since all of my belt buckles that work with a wider belt add about 2 more inches. Wish I had bought the shorter belt as this one is too long, but oh well.
