To reset you have to turn the knob on the side. Turn it backwards and it will rest to zeros.

Q: Hello, anyone knows if this counter has metal or plastic gears inside because plastic gears tends to slip after using the counter for some time.

Metal. The counter has a great feel to it. Solid and well made.

Q: How loud is the click?

They use they in the warehouse. It is just a slight tick noise. I don't think it's loud. Maybe like knitting needles clicking. Hope that helps. I know they use them all the time and like them. They last much longer than the plastic ones.
