Q: Will this work in the turnigy X9R

Hi Tim, yes, this module will work with Turnigy 9XR, you will need a FrSky receiver to work with it, depends on what size of your drone and what you want to do, X8R and X4R-SB are popular receivers.

Q: I am doing an upgrade with my turnigy 9x radio; will this work with the stated radio & also bind with a fs-ia10b receiver?

Hi Nicholas,This module will work with your Turnigy 9X. However, it's not compatible with FS-iaB Rx, this module works for FrSky X,D,V-II series receivers. Even this one supports 16 channels but you will only able to get 8 channels out of it because of the 9X.
