AMIR Upgraded Motion Sensor Stair Light Indoor (White - Pack of 6)

I had originally given my review 2 stars. And have now modified it to 5 stars (update on15MAY to original review on 08MAY). The company representative was very helpful (and speedy) in replacing the item that was defective in the description I first submitted (That review is at the end of this one.). The company responded quickly to my first review as I described the fault in the device. So. Exceptional Customer Service. Now the product. These are the most excellent lights. Highly reactive and bright. I use them in stairwells and closets. This way, I can navigate my stairs without having to turn on a light when I have something in my hands. Think, carrying a child to bed on this one. I also can dig out gloves, scarves, hats and boots from a closet during winter and replace them easily. I have modified the backing for placement on the wall. Using a screw, I mount a large washer to the wall and superglue magnetic tape to the back of the light mounting plate. This way I can easily remove the whole device, replace the batteries and remount the device. I cycle rechargeable batteries through my motion detecting light system. It involves about 10 lights. For fun, I recharge the batteries using a large battery I charge from solar panels, so once the capital purchase has been made, the operation of the motion detecting light system has no costs. I have been operating this system for about 10 years now, while adding lights where needed. I highly recommend these lights as they have shown to be the brightest; containing 3 LED lights within a device purchased to date. So far I have ordered 2 packages of 3. The first set of 3 work great. Sensitive to motion, bright and an elegant addition to the stairs. The second set of 3, has a problem with one of them. Once the light turns on, it remains on, despite placing where there is no motion and monitoring it's turn off time. Which never happens, up to 15 minutes. I also place it in the direct sun while the light is on. The light still remains on. However, removal of a battery to turn it off and replacing the battery while in direct sun, the light remains off. Once I move the product into the darkness. the light comes on and remains that way (for several minutes) when no motion is detected. For this most reasonable price I score it as 2 stars, because the performance of the light and battery is inconsequential to the motion detector and bright light sensor not functioning in 1 of 3. I don't know if it is worthwhile to return the set due to a single defect (out of 6, really). But it is frustrating that something like this would slip past QC. I am debating the next step for return, reimbursement.

This is the third time I have ordered these lights. They are perfect for illuminating dark spots, particularly on stairs when you need to Make a late night visit when nature calls. One of my re-orders was to gift them to elderly (older than me) relatives that had a constant fear of falling l. The third reordering was to help navigating our Most recent home, particularly at night.

Good bright lights but does not come on until really dark in the hallway. I use the lights in my stairway (indoors) to make it safe going up and down them. I already have some lights and I ordered more (reorder) and got these lights instead (not the same as first order). First order lights comes on when using steps and these don't come on as quick and does not provide light until very low hallway lighting. I thought I was getting more of first lights.

These are very convenient to sit or stick any place in a hallway or any room. When you go near this light and activates immediately and it’s very bright so you can see until you get out of the room. I love these lights for safety getting around the house at height.

I would have given (5) stars...if one wasn't already broken upon receipt. These were a great idea for our hallway and other areas throughout our home to help shed some light when walking so one could see where they were going. Sadly, of the (6) sensor lights we received only (4) worked. The other (2) were missing their small spring which is loosely attached and tend to break off easily. Within less than (1) month I was down to (3) motion lights as the other did not hold the battery life (even after a new battery was supplied). The other (2) that did not work when the items first arrived I was able to fix myself by reattaching the coiled spring. Of the (6) purchased only (5) work and one of them flickers off/on... but its sensitive sensor (lol). All in all... I would recommend.

Love these!!! Came in a package of three. I put one on the top landing of my stairs so that when I come down in the morning there would be no need to navigate or try to turn the nearest light on. Even my kids who came home for the holidays expressed how great it was to have so they could get to the bathroom easily in the middle of the night. They are battery operated but I am thinking it should last for quite a while as it only turns on when it is is complete darkness and it senses motion. It states once the lightbulb goes the bulb itself is not replaceable. It will be interesting in time to see the longevity but even if I can get a year or more it was worth it as they are very affordable and

I bought these for my bathroom, under the kitchen sink, and by my garage service door. The one in the bathroom and under the sink work like they should. It's just bright enough to see what I need to see. The one in the garage has issues. It turns on AFTER I walk I to the house. Not when I walk past it in the garage. Not when I stand in front of it and wave like a maniac. AFTER I walk back into the house. Otherwise, I like these little lights a lot. I've had them for several months and I've only had to change the batteries in the bathroom one, since it gets the most activity 😆

We don't have proper lighting for the basement stairs or one of our closets. These have been amazing. They truly work as they are advertised. I did take off the sticky pads attached to the lights and used Command Strip - Velcro Strips. The cats can sometimes trip the motion sensors, but that is ok. The sensors are amazing and have great range. I have 2 lights, approx 1.5-2ft above stairs, approx 6-7ft apart. They come on when needed and are the perfect brightness. I bought 2 sets of 3 lights and intend to use some in more closets.

The price is right. Installing was easy peasy. Strong lighting for a little thing and they catch you coming from a mile away. The only thing is because they catch you coming from a mile away and turn on when you don't exactly need them (could also be bad placement on my end) I wonder if they will eat through batteries fast. However if that's the only worry that's fixable with rechargeable batteries. I'm sold. Take my money. I'll definitely buy again. 🙂
