It’s important to know that this part supersedes the previous part for the stove burner switch. This new parts post where the knob attaches to is longer/taller than the old one. You could cut it to the proper link if desired. Other than that it works and operates as expected.

AMAZING SAVINGS. I scrutinized the reviews and double checked my stove model. This switch arrived on time. It was a good fit and great savings. I have an older Whirlpool 465 and as indicated to be possible before I purchased it the knob is slightly higher than the other 3. This is really hardly noticeable and not a problem. I was happy to be aware of this possibility ahead of time.

This range switch is great for my Whirlpool Range Top. I had originally phoned Whirlpool and they were exceptionally unhelpful - saying they no longer made that part and refusing to even suggest where I might buy a replacement. This range top element controller was a little tricky to install but now works just fine. I am pleased with the product and Amazon's delivery.

Je recommande grandement ce produit. Après des années avec un rond qui montait et descendait sans cesse maintenant tout est réglé.Une petite coupe à l'aide d'un Dremel fut requise sur la tige qui tient le bouton car il était trop éloigné. Je suis ravi de cet achat beaucoup moins dispendieux que sur le site du fabriquant.

Perfect Fit
This is a replacement for the regular burner (not dual sizes). Other reviews complain about it sticking out too far, but this is meant to have the end part snapped off to shorten the piece sticking out. Be sure to take off the small black clip on the end before, easy to do with two pliers.
