Absolutely strong and stable for rinsing sushi rice or any other product. I like this model because I can spray the rice in the strainer as I gently roll the water over it, rinsing all the debris and excess starch out of it. I then let it sit in the strainer for a bit as I ready the steamer. Great handle, very strong and super sturdy! Stable and a great value for the money, I trust this product and I trust the seller as well.

Good, but handle seems flimsy
Works great, but where the handle attaches to the strainer seems very flimsy and like it could break off at any time. Maybe it won’t, but it sure feels that way when there’s any weight in it. (And with a strainer this large, the whole purpose is to be able to hold a lot at once).
