Fulfilling a professional video like the tonight show, or even a podcast. You're supposed to have a key light that shines about the brightness of this bulb at 100%, at whatever temperature looks best - at 45% to my left with camera in front of me straight on, and another light called a fill light to your right that is 50%.You can alter the temperature, and this is the color for those of you that don't know the ringo, from warm all the way to cool which is a yellowish orange to a bluish White and that would sweat you see when you see 3000 - 6,000 temperature. That's not to be confused with lumens, which is a brightnessI like the "life hack" of using 2 extenders in each recessed ceiling lights, the 100% is main, 50% key, and one of these bulbs in each socket pointed at you 45°/20° respectively from the front Left and right - I like a third one behind me over my right shoulder as my back light at 15 - 20%.I love that you can use Amazon Alexa app for the Google home app to set the color, the % brightness, and option of a Timer... Take it from me... If you can't afford the expensive lights let's go on the floor is a little lower towards your face, these will work fine as you keep the ratios as I say about. The quality is amazing. They are as easy as screwing in light bulb. The value is the best on Amazon and they hook up to the app, which hooks up to Google home instantly and Amazon Alexa applicants so connectivity is amazing.

I got this for my lizard’s tank. I was looking for a deep blue or purple light bulb but got this instead. I think it’s pretty neat. Works great. Vibrant colors. We’ll see how long it lasts before it burns out..(10/10) recommend!

Bought 8 of these for my kitchen. I have not experienced the noise that many other reviews mentioned, so maybe that problem was fixed. Overall the light is great and the Wi-Fi function works fine despite having them in metal cans with the router on a higher floor. My one criticism is that they are not quite instant-on when turning then on from the light switch. When powered on they take about a third of a second to light up, which is just long enough for my brain to register that nothing has happened yet and is mildly annoying. The rest of my house is all LEDs too but they don't have this problem. If you leave them powered on all the time and use the Cree app to turn them on/off though, then it is instant. It's still a good product and an excellent value since it seems to be the cheapest color-changing high-CRI BR30 on the market.

Pretty easy to connect and unlimited colors.

This bulb works great, once setup on wifi, I was able to easily pair with my Smartthings hub. Have it set if there is water leak it will turn on and turn blue, if fire, will turn red. Excellent, inexpensive bulb to replace an older zigbee bulb. Glad I tried this and will buy more to replace other bulk s with color in the future.

These bulbs lose connectivity with the router and need to be constantly reset to default, and then will malfunction shortly thereafter. I am not able to keep them connected for more than a few hours at most. I have a mesh wifi system, and I have done everything, including turn off the 5ghz bandwidth and Wifi 6, etc. Nothing enables them to keep connection. I have absolutely no idea how these bulbs have such a high rating, because they do not perform as intended, and there is no fix. I returned them after a few days of misery. I will likely stick with GE Cync, with which I have never had an issue.I am a level 4 network engineer, and I don't say that to sound boastful, I just say it to clarify that this is what I do for a living.

Purchased in Sep '24, I've had these running about 16 hrs/day without any issues. They linked right up to my 2.4GHz wifi network after adding them via the Cree app on my phone. They took a firmware update right after they were added; I had to update each one individually in the Cree app. The sun tracking functions on the app seem to conflict with Google & Alexa setting color temperatures, so I'm only using Alexa to run the schedules for now.I have a bunch of Kasa smartbulbs that I also use, and I can see that the Cree bulbs respond just a tad bit slower than the Kasas. No issues noted with sound/whine like some of the older reviews indicated; presumably they got that fixed. Overall I'm happy with them.

The lights themselves were easy to set up, assign names, assign rooms, tie to Google etc.My issue is the very slight sound 2 of the 4 make. As long as they have power they make this very faint sound.. you don't notice when other things are on but as soon as you turn them off and try to sleep you here it. Turning the power of to them via light switch and sound instantly goes awayOtherwise.. Brightness good, color control is good, white temperatures are good... Just that sound on 2 of the 4 ordered.
