Amazingly Powerull Magnets
These are amazingly powerful magnets, if you keep them on your favorite screwdrivers while you dont use them they will become self magnetized even without these magnets. To my Amazement after such treatment regualr screwdrivers became More powerful them Factory-Magnetized Tipped screwdrivers.I recommend to get 2-3 packs of these and keep these on your screwdrivers to make them magnetized and keep in different rooms, I have some iwth my car tools, some iwth my Computer tools and some with my home tools.

Works like a charm
Works great and does what it says it does. It will NOT fit larger diameter screwdrivers, but will fit most small/medium ones. Easy to use, will not take up any room in a tool box either.I would recommend this product.

It's of little to no use to magnetize 1/4" screwdriver hex bits
I must first say I did not try this on a regular screwdriver yet. I really purchased it to magnetize 1/4" hex screwdriver bits. After moving a bit in and out of the magnet, it did magnetize a bit but the strength of the magnetic field created was feeble at best. I tested it out on some 1/2" long screws and while the bit would pick the screw up, if it was disturbed in the slightest way, the screw would fall off of the bit. I will not be able to use this method to keep a screw on the end of a bit when needed as I had hoped. I looked hard for a solution but I am disappointed that this will not be one.

Never made it to my tool bag.
I buy tons of tools and gadgets. I buy them hoping some of them will actually make it to my working Property Management tool bag. I am using Makita Mag Boost's for this magnetic function. Strangely, Mag Boosts are now discontinued. They are great. So, I bought several alternate brands to try to replace the Makita's. This is pretty much junk compared. I don't like magnetics that must sit 1/8" off the screwdriver tip to work. This fails miserably when it it backed off of the tip (down the shaft).Theu are now lying the the "failed" pile of junk to be sold at the Spring garage sale for a quarter..

Just the right size!
These are a perfect fit for my small screwdriver. No more lost screws from eyeglasss or remote controls! The magnet are strong and the build feels sturdy. I expect these to last a long time!!

Beware it's for 1/4" ONLY!
Measure your tool to SEE if this will work. 1/4" bits that are short will obviouslydissapear. This device works great though on the wasp looking 1/4" impact drivers as it sits in the middle body of the bit. Many Multi-bit screwdrivers though are likely too thick to sleeve this device. The shaft has to be exactly 1/4" or forget it.The good thing is that even if ithis device can't fit your tool, if you take your normal short 1/4" bit you CAN magnetize it by sleeving the end tip. So it IS a magnetizer for a job. This magnet is strong and will do this task.

One Would Be Enough
These are strong magnets that fit snugly around longer hex shaft screwdriver bits. A bit of force is required to get them past the bit head, but once on they slide anywhere on the shaft you want them to be. Magnet is powerful enough to magnetize either end of an extended shaft well enough to hold screws securely onto the bit. Would have preferred to pay less for just one of these as they go on and off fairly easily and I never used the second one at all which would be of more use to someone who needs to work fast and uses multiple bits often. Anyway, great product for standard hex shaft driver bits of extended length. Recommend!

These work GREAT!
I had a really nice screw driver with interchangeable tips that also worked well with my cordless drill. Only thing missing was they weren't magnetized. This easily fixed that problem. Love them.

Not cheap but they do an amazing job.
I've used these magnets on my impact and screwdrivers for about 1 month now. They seem solid and well built. They definitely add a lot of magnetism to metal bits. I was sick of dropping screws in tight spaces ( I do maintenance on a high rise building ) and these solved that issue. I bought 2 to try and I'd like to get 1 or 2 more as well. There's no reason NOT to use them lol. They do not fall off, they are solid, they don't slide around. There are 2 or 3 little nubs on the inside of the magnets that hold it tight and in place. Once I figured that out, they work perfect. I do recommend these for anyone that needs some magnetism for their screwdrivers, impacts or drill.

Works well enough, hard to get onto bits
Needed additional magnetizers. I've been using the Makita ones which work fantastically. This one works well enough to magnetize a bit, but they are very annoying hard to get on and off bits since it uses hard plastic nubs to hold them, rather than a rubberized flexible material.Overall for the price, you can't really go wrong. They do what they say.

Works well
I left the device on my drill bit and it worked well. It makes the screws stick to the bit fairly well. I had previously owned the Makita version of this device and I think that it was superior but for 4x the price it was not worth buying again.

No extra hand trquired
Works but not a great invention as my screw drives are magnetized as I store them on a magnetic strip by their tips.Thought this would make them better than they are but not much better.
