Didnt know what I didnt have until I got these gas cans. I am in the process of updating / redoing my garage and after switching things around we had a strong gas smell? I had a 5 gallon gas and 2 gallon two cycle plastic gas tanks stored in the garage and they were always suspect with swelling and gaskets not being perfect, so I decided I would replace them with something supposedly much safer. These cans are great, no fumes at all, strong spring loaded cap that keeps the gas inside until you release the cap, good funnel that keeps the fuel where you want it to go. I didnt know how crummy the other cans were until I tried these and even though they are more expensive, they are worth it in my opinion.

These are nice, sturdy, and safe cans. They are the only kind I will use. They are easy to fill and easy to pour from. They are not SIMPLE to pour from as there is some resistance when pulling back the cap- but that is part of the safety feature. I am older than 60 and have had spine surgery and if I can do it, you probably can too.

Eagle is by far the best fuel tanks ever made. You always get what you pay for. Not a cheap plastic. This is my 6th can!

Item arrived crushed in on both sides. The packaging box was intact so likely shipped out already damaged!

I only use Eagle 1 gallon cans for my mixed fuel. They work great and hold up well unless you accidentally drive over them. That's why this is my second can.
