A fine pack with some nonsense features
My pack arrived as "Rigg Gear" brand, which I assume is the same as "Nelson-Rigg" brand. It seems like a fine pack with lots of space inside. Due to a few serious shortcomings (see below), I feel that it's very overpriced, especially for a pack that can't be used for hiking for lack of a proper waist belt (included one isn't designed to bear any stress).I'll use it as a motorcycling pack, but I'll have to find a different one for day hikes.PROsHefty rubberized textile. It feels solid and is definitely impermeable, though I haven't tested the seams yet.LOTS of attachment points for extra gear.I like that there are two different ways to buckle the pack closed depending on how full it is. A thoughtful feature.Includes a water-resistant, flat map pouch that's removable. Though paper maps may be a thing of the past, it's a good place to stow a phone or small tablet so that you can access a touch screen.CONsWhen the bag is rolled and buckled shut properly, there's a lot of tension on the pack material. I expect that might cause issues down the road, but for now it's fine. The photos suggest that you can use the flat map pouch as a helmet carrier. That is not accurate. The straps are far too short to fit any helmet under it. A thin blanket roll, maybe. The anchor points for the map carrier aren't properly reinforced to hold weight, so I wouldn't even try to get longer straps for it. The anchor points will almost certainly tear.Waist strap seems like an afterthought as it's not attached to the pack. It passes through two un-reinforced slits in the outer material. It looks weak and not designed to bear any load, so I removed the straps. No usable waist strap is a huge drawback.

Great bag. Updated 09/2019
Love this bag. It’s a little huge, but better too much capacity than too little. I used it as a tail bag for a weekend away and it lashed down easily while holding everything I needed.Update: Second trip with the bag in torrential rain and everything in the main compartment stayed completely dry. The little pocket on the webbing, thought it had what looks like a waterproof zipper, is not at all waterproof. Be warned. I also noticed the metal grommets around the shock cords meant to hold in you water/fuel bottles have pulled out and exposed fraying trim - disappointing. Overall, though, still happy with my purchase.

The one bag to rule them all.
This bag is huge. It is one large cavernous void that can gobble gear. There is a sleeve for a laptop or tablet against the shoulder strap side.I like the options this bag gives me to attach it to the bike with all the molle strapping. It also has options for closing the top, either attach the ends of the roll top together or buckle them down the sides. The bag is air tight and the purge valve lets you compress the contents and remove any trapped air.

Just finished a 15,000km cross canada trip
If you guys are looking for a water proof tough bag that's a black hole for gear, look no further. This bag is amazing. The strapping points are strong and well placed. The bag it's self is shockingly nice quality for the price. Other normal dry bags in this size a quality sell for the 400-500 dollar range at sports stores. You won't regret buying it. I also suggest putting a water bladder in the pocket ment for one. So nice.Only real down side. The map pocket isn't water proof. So just be aware if you use paper maps.
