So it was bad from the second it came out of the box
As soon I installed this on my Xterra, it did not stop the oil leaks coming from the solenoid and it started shooting multiple codes. So it was bad from the second it came out of the box. I ended up buying a VVT solenoid from Dorman, and it immediately the codes cleared and the oil leaks stopped. So in all honesty, with these cheaper parts, you have a 50/50 of getting a good piece or not. I just recommend going for the known name brands instead.

This item was a perfect fit and installed easy on 2005 xterra. My last one had oil seeping out the side of the solenoid and the gasket was shedding the black off causing oil to leak, this replacement took care of that with an added improvement in power(didn't add power, it just put it back where it belongs)

DEFECTIVE PART!!!
As soon as I replaced the original valve with this one and turned the car on, the oil immediately started gushing out. Thought I could save some money by buying this part here. Will be returning. 05 Infiniti G35.

be careful pay attention to the part where it bolts down to your car, some have different placing for the bolt

So glad i found this on amazon for this price. I called local parts store for this part and it was about 4 times as much. Shipping was quick.
