Works great at polishing the water.
I was amazed out how much clearer my water looked after running this with my Klir DI-4.I had no problems with it breaking etc. It lasted about 1 month on a 120 gal system. 90 gal tank and 30 gal sump.I think that while 50 micron is great for getting out just about everything, it just clogs up a little to easily for my liking and the fleece gets used up faster than it needs to be. I wish they had a 250 Micron version for regular use. I figure that might give me two months of operation. I also think the price on these is way too high.Update: I am on my third roll and still no problems with rips or tears. I am very happy with the DI-4 Ver2 model.

Expensive way to do the job
My big complaint is the price of each roll. It is easier than washing out filter socks but the maintenance costs are through the roof. Why is this stuff so expensive? Why are there no alternatives? Eventually I will go back to washing socks to save money.
