Mira Showers Escape Electric Shower 9.8 KW Thermostatic Electric Shower Chrome 1.1563.011

Not really sure why this shower is more expensive than others in the range, it looks nice, flow isn’t as powerful as I would have liked but does the job. The on/off switch is a bit clumsy, have to press it a couple of times to turn off, it was the same with the one I replaced it for (like for like). I only chose this one again as I wanted it to fit in the exact same place, if not I would have gone for a cheaper Mira that may have been better ie the sport

Shower refused to turn off on the third operation.Mira couldn't send an engineer until the following week and gave a speech about poor installation will result in an £80 call out charge.Left a sour taste despite not being charged at all.Interestingly they also needed confirmation that it was sited in a residential building, the assumption I make is that if not residential they will not honour the guarantee?Wouldn't you think you would need to know that before buying it!

I just had the item installed this month (Sept 2019) having purchased it in April 2019 (my plumber wasnt ready to start bathroom works until Sept 2019). It became apparent after installation that the front cover is faulty and does not fit snugly, its exposed and seems dangerous. Even the power button is stiff and its a struggle to turn on and off. I have written to Mira to sort this mess and I am writing here for Amazon to sort aswell. It should also be noted when I recieved the shower, the shower head was incorrect and the replacement sent to me was also incorrect. Hopefully Mira and Amazon resolve this major issue.

Perfect replacement for our last shower (this is the newer version) our last one lasted 18years so no complaints here

Sometimes you get your money's worth. Very happy.
